FORVANNDLING FRYDER Menneskene i Liberia trenger rent vann.

1. IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD

(John 1:1-5,14 ESV)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

GLORIA

(Luke 2:10-14 NIV) Choir: Gloria. (3x) In Excelsis Deo. 10 But the angel said to them, «Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.» 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 «Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.» Choir: Glory to God in the highest heaven And peace on earth To people of good will.

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, «Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is the one I meant when I said: ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ 34 I have seen and testified that this is God´s Chosen One.»

18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him. 21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. Jesus: Come, follow Me! Come, follow Me! And I will make you fishers of men. Come, follow Me! Come, follow Me! And you will never be the same again.

5. MIRACLES A large crowd gathered around Jesus. It was late and the people had no food. Jesus told His disciples to give them something to eat. They replied: «There is nothing here but five barley loaves and two fish that was carried by a boy.» Let´s hear the story of what happened performed by the little boy.

Choir: Miracle, miracle, An amazing miracle. But the greatest miracle of them all Is the miracle that no one can ignore.

TWO FISH AND FIVE LOAVES

COMING BACK AFTER FISHING ALL NIGHT (John 21:4-11)

(Luke 9:12-17)

A little boy: One day I went to see the Miracle man. The Pharisees say He´s a fool. But none of them have ever healed a man, So to me Jesus is cool. Somebody asked me if I´d brought some food. I gave him all I had. Two fish and five loaves fed five thousand men. How can this good thing be bad?

Choir: Miracle, miracle, An amazing miracle. But the greatest miracle of them all Is the miracle that no one can ignore. Miracle, miracle, Such a glorious miracle. But the greatest miracle of them all Is the miracle that no one can ignore. Jesus lives forever more.

SHORTLY BEFORE DAWN (Matthew 14:25-33)

After feeding the five thousand, Jesus told His disciples to get into a boat and go to the other side of the Sea of Galilee. In the morning Jesus came walking towards them on the sea. Peter: Shortly before dawn Jesus came to us. He was walking on the sea. «It´s a ghost!» we cried out, but Jesus said: «Don´t be scared it is Me.»

Miracle, miracle, Such a glorious miracle. But the greatest miracle of them all Is the miracle that no one can ignore. Jesus lives forever more!

Jesus kept on walking and I cried to Him: «Lord, tell me to come out to You.» He said: «Peter, have faith, climb out of the boat And walk on the water too!»

The Bible describes more than one miracle of Jesus involving the catching of fish. This particular miracle, described in the Gospel of John, occurred after the resurrection of Jesus. Disciples: Coming back after fishing all night, We saw a man on the shore. He called out: «Fellows, have you caught any fish?» We said: «No, not a single one.» Then he said: «Throw the net on the right side of the boat And you will catch some there.» When we did we were unable to haul in the net And we realized it was the Lord.

He rose from the dead, Just like He said!

Choir: Miracle, miracle, An amazing miracle. But the greatest miracle of them all Is the miracle that no one can ignore. Miracle, miracle, Such a glorious miracle. But the greatest miracle of them all Is the miracle that no one can ignore. Jesus lives forever more!

Jesus rose from the dead, He´s alive like He said. (What a miracle)

Such an amazing miracle. What a miracle. Jesus rose from the dead, He´s alive like He said. (Such an amazing miracle)

Jesus rose from the dead, He´s alive like He said. (Such an amazing miracle) He´s a miracle man!

6. DON’T WORRY, BE HAPPY

(Luke 15:20-24 NIV)

20 «But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. 21 The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.» 22 «But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.» The lost son: One day I said to my father: «Give me my share of the estate.» He divided his property, Between my older brother and me. Before long I took all I had And moved to another land. I felt like a king. And this is the song I liked to sing:

The lost son: After spending everything I had, I began to be in need. I started on my way back home, To the place where I belong. From far away I could clearly see, My father running towards me. He forgave my sin. The celebration could begin.

The older brother: After working in the fields all day, I came back to the house. There was a party going on. My brother was back, safe and sound. I got angry and refused to join, Then my father came out to me. He begged me to change my mind And leave the past behind.

All singers: «Don´t worry, be happy.» Come on, sing this song with me. Sing it loud and sing it clear. Knowing everyone will hear. Always look to the future, And leave the past behind. Every day´s a new beginning. Always keep this in mind.

The lost son and Choir: «Don´t worry, be happy.» Come on, sing this song with me. Sing it loud and sing it clear. Knowing everyone will hear. Always look to the future, And leave the past behind. Every day´s a new beginning. Always keep this in mind.

The lost son and Choir: «Don´t worry, be happy.» Now I can sing this song again. Finally I´m home, No longer a lost son. I just look to the future, I have left the past behind. Everything is forgiven. I´ll always keep this in mind.

The father and Choir: «Don´t worry, be happy.» Let us live as family. Eat and drink and celebrate, Let´s keep dancing through the night. You are always with me. Everything I have is yours. Your younger brother has come home. He was lost but now he´s found.

All singers: «Don´t worry, be happy.» Come on, sing this song with me. Sing it loud and sing it clear. Knowing everyone will hear. Always look to the future, And leave the past behind. Every day´s a new beginning. Always keep this in mind.

7. WALKING DOWN THE ROAD TO JERICO

(Luke 10:25-30 NIV)

25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. «Teacher,» he asked, «what must I do to inherit eternal life?» 26 «What is written in the Law?» he replied. «How do you read it?» 27 He answered, «‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, «Love your neighbor as yourself.’» 28 «You have answered correctly,» Jesus replied. «Do this and you will live.» 29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, «And who is my neighbor?» 30 In reply Jesus said: Jesus: When a man was walking down the road to Jerico, He was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and ran away. Now he had to depend on others. Then a priest came walking down the same road, He saw the half dead man. He didn´t show compassion or humanity, He just passed by on the other side. Choir: Have mercy, mercy, Mercy on him. Jesus: So too, a Levite came walking down the road, He used to serve in the Temple. When he saw the man, bleeding from his wounds, He passed by on the other side.

Choir: Have mercy, mercy, Mercy on him. Jesus: But a Samaritan came to the place Where the man lay broken. When he saw him he took pity on him And went to bandage his wounds. He put the man on the donkey he owned. Brought him to an inn and took care of him. «Look after him,» he said, «and when I return I will cover the costs you may have.» Choir: Have mercy, mercy, Mercy on him. 36 «Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?» 37 The expert in the law replied, «The one who had mercy on him.» Jesus told him, «Go and do likewise.» Choir: Have mercy, mercy, Mercy on him.

8. I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD

9. I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE

14 «I am the good shepherd, I know my sheep and my sheep know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.»

5 Thomas said to him, «Lord, we don’t know where You are going, so how can we know the way?» 6 Jesus answered, «I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 If you really know Me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.»

Jesus: I am the Good Shepherd. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life For the sheep.

Jesus: I am the Good Shepherd. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life For the sheep.

Thomas: «Lord, I don´t know where You´re going, So how can I know the way?»

Choir: You are the Good Shepherd. You are the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life For the sheep.

Jesus and Choir: The hired hand is not the shepherd, And does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, He abandons the sheep and runs away.

Jesus: The hired hand is not the shepherd And does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, He abandons the sheep and runs away.

Jesus: I am the Good Shepherd. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life For the sheep.

(John 10:14-16 NIV)

Female voices: The hired hand is not the shepherd And does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, He abandons the sheep and runs away.

(John 14:5-7 NIV)

Jesus: «Thomas, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.» Jesus: «I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.» Choir: You are the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through You. You are the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through You. You are the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through You. No one comes to the Father except through You. Except through You.

10. AT HIS FEET

(Luke 10:38-42 NIV)

38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, «Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!» 41 «Martha, Martha,» the Lord answered, «you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed, or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.» Mary of Bethany: For some time I´ve had a friend from Galilee. He´s the greatest man I´ve ever known, so wonderful to me. He is King, but doesn´t wear a golden crown. Without sin, but still rejected by His own. I believe He is the Chosen One, God´s one and only Son, He´s sent from up above To show His Father´s love. One day Jesus came to our little town. My sister, Martha, met Him and invited Him to our home. I sat down to listen to what Jesus said. Then my older sister got a little mad. She said: «Please tell Mary to help me do the work,» But my Master said to her: «Mary gets what she deserves, And it will not be taken from her.»

Just to sit at His feet Gives me all the strength I need. He´s my guide, He´s my light, Even in my darkest night. He has taught me so much about love, He makes my heart just glow. He´s sent from up above. And I love Him so. He has taught me so much about love, He makes my heart just glow. He´s sent from up above. And I love Him so. Love Him so.

11. I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

(John 11:20-26 NIV)

20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home. 21 «Lord,» Martha said to Jesus, «if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.» 23 Jesus said to her, «Your brother will rise again.» 24 Martha answered, «I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.» 25 Jesus said to her, «I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.» Jesus: Choir: I am the Resurrection and the Life. You are the Resurrection and the Life. The one who believes in Me will live The one who believes in You will live Even though they die. Even though they die. Jesus: I am the Resurrection and the Life. The one who believes in Me will live Even though they die.

Choir: You are the Resurrection and the Life. The one who believes in You will live Even though they die.

Jesus: I am the Resurrection and the Life. I am the Resurrection. The resurrection

Choir: You are the Resurrection and the Life. You are the Resurrection. The resurrection

Jesus and Choir: The Resurrection and the Life! Jesus: «Martha, do you believe this?» Martha: «Yes Lord, I believe that You´re the Messiah, the Son of God, Who is to come into the world.» Choir: «Yes Lord, we believe that You´re the Messiah, the Son of God, Who is to come into the world. Who is to come into the world.»

12. LAZARUS COME OUT

13. OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, «Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.» 43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, «Lazarus, come out!» 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, «Take off the grave clothes and let him go.»

6 «But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. 7 When you pray, don´t babble on and on as people of other religions do. 8 Don´t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask Him! 9 Pray like this:»

(John 11:41-44 NIV)

Martha: «Lord, if you had been here my brother would not have died.» Jesus: «Martha, where have you laid him?» Martha: I saw that Jesus cried. Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. He commanded us to take away the stone. Martha and Choir: Then He called in a very loud voice: Jesus and Choir: «Lazarus, come out! Come out! Lazarus, come out!» Jews: We came all the way from Jerusalem, To visit Martha and Mary, to comfort them. We will never ever be the same After seeing what happened when Jesus called his name.

Jews, Martha and Choir: Lazarus came out, came out. Lazarus came out! He came out, he came out. Lazarus came out. He came out, he came out. Lazarus came out.

(Matthew 6:6-9 NLT)

Jesus: Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sin, As we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For the Kingdom, The power and the glory are Yours. Forever and ever.

Jesus and Choir: Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread.
