The common areas are also refurbished and innovated, such as the restaurant, the hall, the landing, more connected, contemporary and warm but also the creation of a fitness center on the top floor with a view of the Defense. A substantial modification of the elevator bearings is carried out on each floor and allows to restrict the traffic spaces. Indeed, the landing is treated as a waiting space and allows to rest. These niches invite to relax and animates the space. These places of exchange and collaboration make it possible to welcome up to 1,000 people by meeting the expectations of the new generation of users for a better appropriation of places, their future place of work…

The project is to rethink the organization of this real estate complex so that it has services and services similar to the Parisian QCA buildings and meets current requirements.

A careful design is designed by the agency for outdoor development with the aim of creating links between the building and its urban environment. For this purpose, a wooden landscaped site is installed along the plot and is available according to uses and in dialogue with its environment. This protective filter composed of wooden modules draws a dotted outline of the terrain. More than a fence, this filter establishes a porous boundary between public and private space; it energizes the landscape. Its undulations of wood guide the visitor to the porch, exterior extension of the reception hall with a glazed SAS as a link with the interior. The surroundings of the building are fully upgraded and allow easy and pleasant access to the reception hall. The complex of 12,000m², 188 parking spaces in the basement on 4 levels of basement, a garden level, ground floor and 7 floors was delivered in 2020.

Axel Schoenert Architectes - in partnership with Gecina - has restructured this 12,000m² office building located in La Défense. It is located 6 mins walk from the CNIT and its public transport, it also has immediate access by car from the circular boulevard.

Combining comfort and innovation, the agency Axel Schoenert Architectes plans a complete reconfiguration of the trays, which makes it possible to value the new uses of work by unobstructed views, spacious trays of 1,400m² with double exposure and nicely landscaped terraces.

A special and elegant treatment of the ceiling is implemented in order to find generous volumes in a «High-tech chic» spirit (no false ceiling).

Also, conservatory measures are planned on the top floor in order to install a fitness center that benefits from a distant view.

A complete reconfiguration of the volumes that allows to value new uses of work through clear views, spacious plateaux of 1,400 m² doublings exposed and terraces pleasantly arranged.

The garden level is highlighted and welcomes new concepts of services such as a contemporary, connected and scalable dining space that will differentiate from a classic corporate restaurant operated by a traditional provider.

It is a break in the working day: at the company restaurant (RIE) the 800 m² café B, the employee finds colleagues, discusses, exchanges and leaves for the office. As with any collective catering arrangement, the layout of the kitchen follows strict sanitary rules: separation of the circuits between hot and cold, differentiated management of clean and dirty elements. Beyond these standards, Axel Schoenert Architectes imagined a pleasant dining place, where everyone can serve themselves according to their wishes: self-service buffets, grills, all-you-can-eat vegetables or on-the-plate

Theservice.objective was to imagine for this often fast moment, a practical and playful circuit at the same time, all in a design and appeasing environment. Meeting rooms and coworking spaces are also present at the back of the RIE, as well as lounges areas to relax.

AXEL ARCHITECTESSCHOENERT MAÎTRISE D’OEUVRE

Axel Schoenert founded the FrancoGerman agency Axel Schoenert Architectes with Zsofia Varnagy, interior architect, in 1999 in Paris. With a multicultural team, she develops her activities in France and internationally, in the fields of architecture, interior architecture and design. His priority is to promote an eclectic vision of his work, to emphasize the diversity of projects and to develop expertise in new construction as well as complex renovations. Axel Schoenert is recognized and rewarded for his achievements in hotels, offices with emblematic performances and design but also for his coworking projects. Decidedly detached from a specific style, effects and trends, each project is studied as a new page to write. The starting point of this work is the place itself, its history, its culture. This anchorage will define the heart of the project, where interior architecture and design are brought together in the same way as architecture and live in perfect Withharmony.itsprojects, the agency found itself at the centre of urban renewal. Among the the most recent are the complex renovation of SHIFT 54 rue de Londres (winner of the 2018 SIMI Grand Prize and finalist of the 2019 MIPIM Awards), the Belvedere project with SPACES in La Défense, UFO which hosts the future Leboncoin headquarters in the heart of the trail, a wooden structure building on rue Bayard, but also 5 Wework in Paris, including the largest in Europe (20,000 m 2) located on avenue de France. With its expertise in hotel programs, the Axel Schœnert architects agency recently delivered the first hotel in France, the German brand 25 Hours in front of the Gare du Nord, in Paris as well as the first two hotels of the MEININGER group in France. It also signs the concept and interior architecture of the future 4* Pleyel Tower hotel, which will open its doors in 2023.
