T he

A e s t h e t i c Tr a n s f o r m a t i o n P l a n i s a p r o j e c t t h a t w e i m p l e m e n t e d d u r i n g m y j u n i o r y e a r. T h e objective of this plan is to improve the aesthetic sense of design students. We discovered that the students are not very competitive. For example, they do not voluntarily receive related information or do not develop their own individual style. Therefore, we decided to change this situation.

We did not have sufficient manpower to change all the students in the institute so we decided to start by changing the Department of Visual and Communication Design. We created a magazine, the content of which included an

interview with a famous designers and transformation of posters. The interview of the designer talked about his life, work, and achievements. For the poster portion, we selected ugly posters in the university and changed them with the famous designer’s style. Finally, we distributed the magazines to each class and hoped that it can bring benefits to aesthetic education.

For the promotion, we used hangers and stickers with QR codes to visually attract people going into the classroom or that are already in the classroom, thereby, getting them to notice information about us.

This poster expresses the message that although women look gentle and weak, if they want something, they still have the strong will to solve all problems. In traditional image, women should be gentle. However, in this poster I used a woman with a gun to hint that she is a serious character, and that she must have a complex background story to make her this way. If she does not have a strong will, how can this happen? I want to emphasize that a woman also have power.

BAI-BANG AGENT short comedy was my university final project and I was responsible for the art and visual design. This includes the concept, the graphic, and the setting designs. You can watch the entire film by clicking on the link.

The plot of this movie is about a girl (Hsin Yi) who could not get over her

breakup with her ex-boyfriend, who also took 400 thousand dollars from her.

Ever since her breakup, she has been feeling down. One day she met an older deliveryman who is warm hearted and that has excellent acting skills. Upon hearing about what happened to Hsin Yi, he decides to help her get back her 400 thousand dollars. Thus, the ensuing plan to get back her 400 thousand dollar plan began!

What we wish to express with story is that young people can encounter difficulties in their life. You can’t run away from reality, because this is life, and you will eventually have to face the facts, even if it can be very difficult sometimes.

Logo For our project we built a workshop called the THE BOOK OF SHADOWS

Pink Storm Film Studio. The concept came from our six women and one men team. We want to emphasize our female strength and use our inner gentleness to create a powerful storm. The inspiration for the symbol comes from thunder clouds. For the color, I used pink and yellow as my standard to emphasize the image of the woman. The thunder clouds and the pink form a contrast when placed together.

Typography The design of the BAI - BANG AGENT font came from the two pictures shown above. During the initial design I designed the text on the right side. However, when the director felt that they did not match the style of this film, I referenced the lively style of Cartoon Newar on the left side. This is what the director of this film wanted.

Concept Design When I designed this picture I thought if a special agent wears sexy cloth while going on a mission in a taxi it would be very interesting. This is how this concept picture came about and appeared in the scene in the film.

Accessory — Stickers These funny stickers are props for the movie. I designed them according to the plot of the movie and based on the actors’ funny expressions, then matched them to appropriatelines.

T h is is a short film that explores social

phenomenon. In recent years people are becoming highly reliant on their mobile phones.

Thus, I used this as the theme to create this short film. As time goes on, the main character became gradually addicted to the mobile phone and Internet world. Here I mimicked playing with mobile phones as a virus, which spread rapidly. Then I added characteristics from drug addictions so that the main character gradually became addicted to mobile phones and spread this virus to people around him.

I directed this film and I was also responsible for the

aesthetic design. It is my hope that this film can appeal to people to care more about their life quality.

I was responsible for the aesthetic design for this film. Because of film plot requirements, I used the images of members in our group as examples to create the picture hall and create a creepy atmosphere. I also designed the landlord’s private workshop and Xuan Rong’s room.

Design For Senses Five sensual design is an assignment given by teachers in college. Five sensory experiences are combined with visual sense or products to create or to give the public shared experience.

The musical poster used Avicii’s “Without You” as the design example. Based on the feelings that the lyrics gave me, I want to express that people always focus on the beautiful parts after their love disappears. Thus, I used a rose to represent love because it can be beautiful, yet it can also fade. Here, I emphasized on the beautiful parts, but in reality the love is already gone. The sweet DM is designed based on the colorful and soft image of cotton candy. The spicy package is a combination of Mexican chili and dead spirits. Red and black color gives people a spicy feeling.

Nobody short film - source material In the Nobody plot, one only has to sacrifice love, family, and friendship to receive three wishes. I was responsible for designing these three concepts. This is when I thought of the tarot cards. Thus, I used the cards as the prop to show these three abstract concepts. The love theme is shown as Adam and Eve in Eden, family is expressed as the birth of Jesus, and friendship is depicted as mutual support in the face of adventure.
