Anecdote

“

When this semester dawned, it was also the same time as the peak of Covid. That left me in a plethora of uncertainty as I didn’t know how to process the pandemic nor did I have any idea as to how our UD class would adapt to the globe’s change.

Unlike the ways of the past, this semester we were to team up in groups of 3 or 4.

This was challenging also because we had to deal with the increased workload.

Nevertheless, through our own ups and downs, we dealt with it. There is no overall success without having your fair share of failure so I’m going to take this whole UD experience as an optimistic sunshine instead of pondering about it with a clouded mindset.

My perception on UD was limited and conceptual to start with. I have always aspired to work in something hands-on, and this project gave me the opportunity.

Even though there were many confusions in the beginning, this study helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses.

We were able to counter the covid situation difficulties with the use of appropriate resources. Overall, the project gave me an insight in improving my endurance, productivity as well as time management. I am certain this would enhance the quality of my approach at handling diverse projects in the future.

This semester is special for me because for the past four years, I was used to working in hostel environment. It was challeging to work at home, without batchmates unlike hostel. But this time I need to work from home without them and also we were teamed up in groups of three. This was challenging for me to deal with the increased workload. Online classes and discussions have its own limitations, especially staring at the screen for hours was really frustrating without the fun of the college. However it was also a learning experience on how to deal with the ups and downs and also how to improve the work efficiency.
