COUTURE REFLECTIONS

In the world of high jewelry, Couture is more than a tradeshow it’s a gathering of artistry, intention, and community As the only show ArunAshi participates in each year, it holds deep meaning for us. It’s where months of creativity, experimentation, and craftsmanship are unveiled and met with dialogue, appreciation, and critique.

This year, we explored a return to tradition leaning into yellow gold, a timeless material reimagined through our signature, boundary-pushing lens In an industry where alternative materials have become the norm, embracing the classic felt like its own quiet act of rebellion The response was powerful

But beyond the jewelry, what made this year’s show especially meaningful were the conversations with friends old and new about design, purpose, branding, and creating with soul I return to the atelier renewed: excited by new collaborations, grounded by deepened relationships, and inspired to keep pushing the limits of what jewelry can express.

Cont Month

e e egacy eco es o e

Fatherhood is the most meaningful creation of my life more lasting than any piece I’ve ever designed.

It’s changed how I see time, not as hours but as moments, stories, values passed on

As a designer, I feel that same pull toward legacy I work with techniques that have been in my family for generations, but I’m always pushing boundaries, evolving tradition rather than preserving it in amber Heritage is my foundation, but not my limit

My sons are my past and my future through them, I see the purpose of what I build: to honor where I come from, and to shape what’s next

PARAIBA TOUMARLINE

PARAIBA RING WITH FRENCH CUT BAGUETTE DIAMONDS

PARAIBA - BRAZIL

A GEM OF FIRE AND WATER

Deep in the mountains of Brazil’s Paraíba state lies a gemstone unlike any other an electrifying fusion of fire and water, copper and manganese, spirit and stone.

Discovered only in 1989, Paraíba tourmaline has become one of the rarest and most coveted gemstones on earth, its neon blues and greens pulsing with an almost supernatural intensity Its source is remote, its supply is dwindling, and its color is unforgettable

For Arun, Paraíba is more than a gemstone it’s a muse. In its glow, he sees the untamed magic of the natural world, a vivid reminder of the earth’s storytelling power. Every time he uses Paraíba, it’s a tribute to wild beauty, to the rarity that stirs something primal in the human soul. It’s never just decoration it’s a provocation. A call to adventure, to emotion, to awe

Paraíba is the soul of the rebel wrapped in the brilliance of nature It’s the gemstone that doesn’t whisper it sings Loudly And those who wear it aren’t just wearing color; they’re wearing an attitude, a sense of adventure, a rare glimpse into a world where beauty and spirit collide. In every way, Paraíba reflects the heartbeat of Arunashi: bold, rare, and undeniably alive.

PARAIBA TOURMALINE

WITH FRENCH CUT BAGUETTES

GEOMETRYOFRARITY

Across time and tradition, the most sacred spaces have been built not to enclose, but to reveal. Inspired by temples, mandalas, and the silent geometry of devotion, the ring’s design draws inward layered in symmetry, guided by rhythm French-cut baguettes and kite-shaped diamonds are set with architectural precision, evoking the sacred scrolls and measured grace of ancient structures

Each tier echoes the elevation of a shrine, balanced and intentional. Geometry becomes language here one of clarity, stillness, and quiet revelation Like the turning of a prayer wheel or the unfolding of a lotus, the form invites contemplation More than adornment, it is a structure shaped by meaning A harmony of proportion, a meditation in metal and light

SATINED GOLD AND PAVE DIAMONDS

THELIGHTENINGRELIC GOLD

Lightning has long been a symbol of revelation a force that splits the sky and leaves clarity in its wake These earrings are built around that idea: not to adorn, but to embody energy shaped into form. Inspired by myth, art, and the geometry of power, each jagged line echoes ancient shields and divine weapons, drawn with purpose and tension

Pavé diamonds trace the motion of light, while satin gold holds its structure, like Sugimoto’s captured bolts or Turrell’s glowing voids At the center is stillness an anchored point in the storm. The silhouette rises like the Benben stone, reaching from earth to sky. These are not just forms they are thresholds A convergence of movement, myth, and meaning Geometry made electric

RHODOCROSITE

TheModernRebellion

RHODOCROSITE: BLUSH OF THE EARTH

Rhodochrosite, found notably in Colorado’s Sweet Home Mine, is prized for its striking pink to deep red crystals formed in narrow hydrothermal veins within the Rocky Mountains.

Though the Sweet Home Mine closed in 2004, its exceptional specimens remain highly valued Arun chooses rhodochrosite because it represents a balance of strength and openness qualities that resonate deeply with his approach to creativity and life The stone’s layered colors reflect the complexity of emotions and the journey toward self-awareness.

For Arun, rhodochrosite serves as a reminder that vulnerability and resilience coexist, encouraging healing and connection Its quiet depth mirrors Arun’s belief in embracing all parts of oneself to foster growth and meaningful expression

TEMPLEOFECHOES

Across cultures, enduring structures honor the sacred, not the body temples and sanctuaries built as bridges between earth and sky through deliberate form. This ring channels that impulse: a sanctum shaped by symmetry and intention, where every contour gestures inward, inviting stillness Its balance echoes ancient principles of cosmic order, a geometry not for display but for meaning

Inspired by traditions where repetition reveals clarity, the design speaks in sacred proportions, rising like a shrine’s silhouette anchored, deliberate, spiritual It holds quiet power, like a reliquary of memory and energy, vibrating with intention Not decoration, but a sanctuary a private axis for reflection. A structure that centers, invites pause, and carries the rhythm of timeless presence.
