Why is the UPSC-CSE GS 4 (ethics, integrity and aptitude) syllabus more IAS-centric? What about IFS, IPS and other services? Ethics GS4 isn't only IAS-centric, but all services under CSE have further public commerce, and the introductory purpose is to make officers effective to deal with challenges on a diurnal base. Being as civil menial, you may come across multiple people in day-to-day life. You may face multiple and different nature of challenges, whether you work as an IAS officer or as IPS, IFS, IRS, or numerous other services.
