Dazzle with Color
COLOR IS A form of expression. From clothes to make-up to accessories, color helps define a person. To usher in the summer, photographer Samantha DeCosta and artist and all-around creative Jennifer Grathwohl used the concept of CV Dazzle as the inspiration for this shoot. CV Dazzle, or Computer Vision Dazzle,
was created by artist Adam Harvey using Cubist-like shapes to confuse facial recognition software when trying to identify people. In this shoot, the bold colors and lines redefine beauty while pairing models with the softer edges and curves of flowers at the Glacier Lily Flower Shop, Steamboat Springs’ luxury florist.
