Celebrating artists & makers across the Lewes District for 32 years

A warm welcome to the 2025 Artwave guide, with details of exhibitions taking place across the Lewes District (and beyond) from 6th - 21st September.

Discover work by around 1000 creatives and enjoy upwards of 160 free-tovisit exhibitions taking place in private homes, studios, potteries, windmills, farms and churches, from Ditchling to Cuckmere, Newhaven to Newick.

In the spirit of our founding mission ‘to make the arts accessible to all’, this year Artwave welcomes a new generation of emerging artists and makers to the festival, with 20 venues showcasing artworks made by young people aged 25 and under.

So, join us in championing artists and makers at all stages of their creative careers. Meet the artists, buy direct from the makers, and support the brilliant diversity of talent in this abundantly creative corner of Sussex.

Sincere thanks to all our generous sponsors, supporters, and to everyone who takes part. Artwave would not be possible without you.
