axaca de Juaréz (del náhuatl Huáxyacac, "en la punta del huaje”) es en sí una experiencia inolvidable, repetible y mandatoria para quienes no conocen el hermoso Estado central de Oaxaca. Fundada en 1841 por guerreros mexicas, en 1532 durante la Colonia la nombran “Antequera” y en 1821 bautizada como Oaxaca. Actualmente, Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad según la UNESCO. La capital es una cuna de arquitectura de piedra verde, producto de épocas tan diversas como la prehispánica, colonial, independiente, moderna y contemporánea, exuberante y de ahí se desprenden como ramas de un árbol, incontables sitios de playa con sus famosas bahías y playas nudistas y de sierra para visitar y disfrutar. Los lugares más emblemáticos para conocer son el centro de la capital, las ruinas de Mitla, Monte Albán y el árbol del Tule, famoso por su gran tamaño. ¿Deportes? También. Además de tours para andar en bicicleta de montaña, senderismo y avistamiento de aves; el surf ha ganado el mejor lugar entre los adeptos en Oaxaca, particularmente en Puerto Escondido (Playa Zicatela, top en México), en Salina Cruz, en Barra de la Cruz y en Santa Maria Huatulco. Se practica extensivamente el esnorquel, el buceo libre y para admirar: el baile de la Guelaguetza, que sintetiza la belleza, elegancia y sofisticación de Oaxaca. Imperdible.

It was founded in 1841 by original Mexicas Warriors, later in 1532 during the Colony it was named “Antequera” and in 1821 baptized as Oaxaca. Nowadays, is considered by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. The capital is a center of green Stone architecture, product of many different epochs such as prehispanic, colonial, independency, modern and contemporary and from there, like the branches of a big tree, there are spread many places to visit, from beautiful beaches within the famous bays and nudist beach and Mountain sites to visit and enjoy. The most emblematic places are the downtown square in the capital, the archeological sites of Mitla and Monte Albán and the Tule tree, famous for its great size. Sports? Certainly.
