ccomplished and celebrated International Contemporary Artist, Author, Humanitarian, and Speaker, Patricia Karen Gagic, has been awarded and recognized for her writing and metaphorically fused vivid abstract paintings she speaks of as 'The Karmic Revolution.' She has an impressive global art career with her work exhibited all around the world. We are excited to name her ArtTour International's Artist of the Year. Gagic's style derives from a creative perception of facing the challenges, dynamic richness, and quality, which emerges from working with layered textures and intricate shadows. Her process-driven paintings reflect her connection to the world around her, and in particular, to nature and the environment. Using the depth of each visual as a symbol of that within ourselves. Her use of color connects the viewer to the emotional impact of genuinely allowing us to be present in the natural world. Gagic's artwork is a balance between the intense bold color palettes required for shadows and neutral tones that compliment and make each canvas a soothing yet powerful visual with the essence of an intense silence we often experience in such elevated heights of nature. Her use of color is the identifying factor in her portfolio. Cool color hues depict glacial landscapes, including ice melts and lakes, as well as warmer shades directing our gaze to the resemblance of the northern lights. her Anderson is a wildlife painter and photographer with hyperrealistic paintings that mirror her immense love and dedication to the conservation of nature and wildlife. Anderson's work is acutely rich in detail, and the illusion of movement through majestic poses, and lively bold color tones. Her intimate relationship with these natural settings as a photographer is seen through her use of light, layers, and focus as she carefully calls attention to the characteristics that will enhance the depiction of her subjects. Anderson's predisposition for wildlife traces back to her childhood years, an inclination that only seems to have grown over time. True to her spirit of wildlife conservation and rehabilitation, Anderson donates most of her proceeds from her art sales to conservation efforts. “My passion for nature's beauty, chaos, and wonder have to lead me to create images that bring to life the spirit of what I see in quiet places and try to make you feel the awe and the essence of its beauty. Life is a miracle – enjoy it, experience it, and share it!” Anderson was born in New York, raised in Mexico City, and has resided in Arizona since 1990. Throughout her life as a
fine artist, she has learned from the masters by studying their technique and applying it to improve her final works of art. She is an avid conservation supporter and a Signature Member and Ambassador of Artists for Conservation, Vancouver, B.C. Anderson has traveled around the world photographing her subjects in their element and then, once in her studio, determines which represents best a special moment or behavior that is characteristic to that particular bird or animal. Mainly working in watercolors, gouache, and acrylics, she brings her subjects to life, and all the while remembers the moment when she looked into the animal's eyes and met them for the first time. During the past 20 years, Anderson has experienced first-hand the beauty of nature in all ecosystems throughout the world. She is passionate about animals and has a genuine love for horses, which she breeds and raises in Arizona. Intrigued by animal behavior, she describes getting that one perfect photograph to be the equivalent of a surge of adrenaline felt by a thrill seeker.
