Artists selected for 2019 Prairie Art Showcase
Twenty-seven South Dakota artists will exhibit their talent at the Prairie Art Showcase, held in conjunction with the annual Governor’s Invitational Pheasant Hunt. The Prairie Art Showcase is open for public viewing on Saturday, October 26, 10 am-4 pm at the Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center in Pierre.
“The Prairie Art Showcase gives us the opportunity to bring the wide range of South Dakota art and the skills of our state’s artists to a new audience,” said Patrick Baker, director of the South Dakota Arts Council. “Business leaders from across the nation attend the Governor’s Hunt, expecting to experience the best of our state—and the Prairie Art Showcase gives them and their families a cultural overview of South Dakota.”
