Held in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival, “Poetic Rhyme, Uplifting Qi 2020” bids farewell to the physical space of a theatre amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, and brings our multidisciplinary Nanyang-style of music online. The result is a wonderful and creative collection of multilingual podcast recordings of Singaporean Chinese poetry recitations, which include Chinese, English, Malay, Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew and even Singlish. This collection features poems by 10 outstanding Singaporean poets across different generations, including Cultural Medallion recipient Prof Wong Yoon Wah, President of Singapore Association of Writers Denon Lim, Founder of Trendlit Andy Ang, and award-winning young po
