The Headline Rehearsals for Dance Show and Drama Showcase, back-to-back performances from BTEC, and enough showtunes in the air to make it feel like we’re in Shaftesbury Avenue – what a week! It’s also been lovely to see how Day School pupils and sixth formers have been supporting each other with rehearsals and Assessment Performances, whether it’s a “Good luck” shared with a friend as the lights go down, or three different people offering to lend someone a hairband after theirs has just broken and they’re due back on stage. It’s something that the audiences never really get to see, but backstage is often just as wonderful to watch as the performances on stage – it’s a different kind of magic, but magic all the same… Enjoy the weekend. This year’s lessons will not automatically continue. Everyone who wants to take lessons must enrol again. Please read the information in the form very carefully before you enrol your pupil/student.
