The Harleston Federation is a community that flourishes, through God’s love, to live ‘Life in All its Fullness’, (John 10:10 and John 13:34). We are a foundation of Hope; a family of Love; a school of nurture guided by Faith; promoting a unique, personalised journey towards excellence.

This is an exciting time for all connected with education in Harleston. The Regional Schools Commissioners approval to open a new All Through School for Harleston in September 2022 is the next phase in a strategic vision started by the creation of the Harleston Federation and its local governing body in January 2019. Ultimately, this will result in the bringing together of Harleston Primary Academy and Archbishop Sancroft High School, offering education for children aged 3-16 across the community. Although the Primary and Secondary phases will remain on their current sites, a joined up approach to leadership, curriculum design, teaching and learning, policy, systems and structures will provide an educational experience that is both unique and has the potential to transform the experiences of all involved.

Our Values and Aims

St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust provides high quality, wide-reaching and well-rounded education for children and young people, enabling them to flourish and achieve. We celebrate the expertise that exists within our academies through collaborative, peer support and career development. We recognise the importance of both support and challenge to achieve the highest quality outcomes for all. We provide an exciting and broad curriculum with dedicated support to enable students to identify and develop their skills and talents. The schools provide high quality and inspirational teaching in an environment where everyone is challenged to achieve ambitious goals. Outstanding pastoral care ensures that every child is known individually and nurtured within our caring Christian community.

The Blackbelt Academy was established in 1980 by Grandmaster Richard Vince and, since then, has continued to grow in the Norwich and South Norfolk area. We teach; • Karate for 7 years to adult. • Little Dragons for 4 to 6 yrs • Kickboxing for 13 yrs to adult.

Our local classes are; Archbishop Sancroft High School Wednesdays 4-30pm Little Dragons (4 to 6 yrs) Wednesdays 5pm Karate Beginners (7 yrs to adult) Wednesdays 7pm Kickboxing beginners (13 yrs to adult) Fridays 5pm Archbishop Sancroft High School Karate beginners. Roydon Village Hall 9am Little Dragons (4 to 6 yrs) 9-30am Karate beginners.
