Artist Directory & Studio Guide
58 artists in Lexington are opening their studios for the Arts Connect Open Studios Weekend to kick off the 250Lex designated ARTS MONTH of November. Studio visitors will be offered the unique experience of a behind-the- scenes glimpse into some of Lexington’s most intimate, inspiring and diverse creative spaces. This is a chance to meet the artists, learn about their process, and enjoy the opportunity to buy original art.
The Arts play a significant and major role in enriching our lives as well as the health of our community by making a huge contribution to Lexington’s economy, stimulating innovation, strengthening competitiveness in the marketplace and providing inspiration for others.
It is hoped that whether you are an avid collector, a fellow artist or a newcomer to the experience of original art, you’ll gain a greater appreciation for how a work of art is brought to realization by each artist’s combination of life experience and imagination.
