I have had the pleasure to work closely with Wheaton’s student-run dance groups for the past 25 years. It’s been an honor to witness the immense creativity, commitment, camaraderie; and the extraordinary joy and challenges that inevitably emerge. Strong connections are forged when people work together to build something so special, so representative of who they are individually—and collectively—during their time at Wheaton. I am grateful to all those who have stepped into the dynamic groove we’ve got going here: our remarkable dance community. Congratulations to our dance orgs and their tech collaborators (lighting designers, crew) who will all blow your minds this weekend…with a very special nod of gratitude to TRYBE as we celebrate their 25th anniversary. —Julie Searles
