Air Plant Care Instructions Light ● ●
Place your air plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sun exposure for extended periods, especially midday.
Water ● ● ●
Soak your air plant in room-temperature water for 20–30 minutes once a week. In drier climates or during hot months, soak twice a week. After soaking, gently shake off excess water and let it dry upside down on a towel for 2– 4 hours to prevent rot.
Air Circulation ●
Ensure your plant dries fully within 4 hours. Good air flow helps prevent mold and rot.
Temperature ● ●
Keep your air plant in temperatures between 50–90°F (10–32°C). Avoid freezing temperatures or placing near heat sources.
Fertilizing (Optional) ● ●
Use a bromeliad or air plant fertilizer once a month, diluted to ¼ strength. Add it to the soaking water for a nutrient boost.
Trimming ●
You can trim brown or dry leaf tips with clean scissors. Cut at an angle for a natural look.
Display ●
Avoid sealing air plants in containers without airflow (e.g., closed terrariums). ● Use open containers, shells, wood, or hang them with wire or string.
