Concept collage of the Pasta factory and food market. The scheme includes a food market which will be hosted on a piazza within the Marina. Around the piazza there will be stores selling local produce as well as food stalls. As a part of that scheme Harry will design workshop spaces and living pods for tourists to learn about the local food culture.

and materiality. The classical italian arch which can be found in the colloseum, one of italians most historcal architecture, is reinterpreted into a modern pattern to create courtyards and facades.

The arches represent the steps of pasta making within the tower. Starting from a large round dough shaped arch which becomes gradually smaller as it reaches the ground where it is sold.

The Rural Courtyard acts as a space for locals and tourists to unwind from day to day life. The trees create shadows for the hot summer days and create a rural and natural environment within the Marina.

The Civic Courtyard is centered around the food court where people can gather mostly to enjoy the local food and interact around the food culture of Belmonte

The Communal Courtyard creates an open area for all possible interactions reaching from small to large gatherings. At the center of the communal courtyard can be used in addition to the food festival. The three courtyards created with this design function as three spaces to meet the rural, civic and communal needs of Belmonte.
