Newton’s Clock The elements of a pinball machine are deconstructed and exaggerated to create a series of interactive works. The viewer is invited to engage with the installation-- you are the one who will initiate a mechanism that is designed to keep a ball in motion as long as possible. The act of playing pinball is connected with the human struggle against time in this multi-dimensional installation. Michael Bosworth is an artist and educator based in Buffalo. Currently a professor at Villa Maria College, Michael received his MFA in photography from the University of New Mexico, a BFA in Art and a BA in English from the University at Buffalo. His work has been exhibited widely in WNY and beyond including in The Other New York Biennial (Syracuse, NY), Beyond/In WNY (Buffalo, NY), Amid/ In WNY (Buffalo, NY), and at Sean Kelly Gallery (New York, NY), Hallwalls, the Burchfield-Penney, Visual Studies Workshop, Big Orbit Gallery, CEPA Gallery, and the Albright-Knox.

Bike Cart Crash - No Plan For The Future Born in catastrophe, demised in beauty; the event is a scar that adorns the void. In a culture where abundance, facts, and liberty are taken for granted, reality can be the most precious delicacy to perish, which to some yields a bittersweet punch line and to others serves America its just desserts. virocode is a collaborative effort of Peter D’Auria and Andrea Mancuso which has been exhibiting work in photography, video, installation and the digital arts throughout the United States and in Europe including: The Museum of Modern Art and The Kitchen in New York City; Paul Robeson Gallery in New Jersey; Artist Television Access, Artspace, Southern Exposure Gallery, and the Emanuel Walter and Etholl McBean Galleries in San Francisco; The Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley, California, Diverseworks Art Space in Houston, Texas, The University of Arizona Art Gallery, in Tucson, Arizona, Impakt Festival in The Netherlands, the European Media Art Festival in Osnabruck, Germany and at the Albright-Knox, the Burchfield-Penney, CEPA Gallery, Squeaky Wheel and Hallwalls in Buffalo.
