Trees and Florals
These paintings explore the forms and textures of green spaces in London and beyond. My 2023 show displayed many of the collages I was making in an effort to deepen my understanding of composition; in this 2024 collection I’ve taken those ideas back into paint and charcoal, whilst enjoying the return to a more immediate medium.
There is also a section based on sketches made over the years whilst doing the ‘school run’, and a set of small gem-like works recording the passing seasons as seen from the top window of my house.
