Soon after his passing I began to sketch buildings and landscapes (which is still a great love of mine)

Then I began to go out early mornings and take photographs for inspiration.

Before this, I had never touched a paintbrush in my life.

Now it brings me a lot of joy and relaxation being able to paint and have sold quite a few pieces.

A lot of my Art is of Edinburgh or surrounding areas as well as some abstract pieces. All of my art begins with a few rough pencil lines on canvas then oil paint, blocking in the dark areas first then colour.
