Adrian Kohler & Basil Jones have worked with the professional team of printmaking technicians in the APS Pro-shop to develop a series of prints that explore a range of techniques. This collaboration began with a lithograph of Joey and Topthorn from The Warhorse through the support of Rand Merchant Bank. Jones developed a series of screen prints and linocut works called “Tondo’s” that incorporate the mechanisms and parts of puppetry and stage designs. Kohler has translated a number of the drawings of his most famous puppets into a series of linocuts and lithographs.
The editions of these new works will be showcased for the first time at the 2016 Cape Town Art Fair.
