The Design Flat Fee

Basedontheagreed-uponprojectscope,wewilldevelopaflatfeeforthedesign servicesneededtocompleteyourproject.Thisensurestherewillbenoguessingat howmuchourserviceswillcost,orsurprisesoninvoices.

The Minimum Expenditure

(this applies mostly to furnishings projects)

Eachfullservicedesignprojectwillincludeaminimumexpenditureontangible elementsfortheproject.Thisexpenditurecanincludefurnishings,rugs,lighting, customwindowtreatments,artwork,bedding,etc.Thisisnotabudgetpersebuta minimumagreeduponamounttoengageourresources.Pleasenotethat minimumexpendituresdonotincludesalestax,freightordelivery&installation.

Project Management - Hourly

(this applies mostly to construction projects)

Projectmanagementtimeisbilledmonthly.Projectmanagementincludes unplannedorunpredictableon-sitemeetingtimewithyourcontractor, subcontractors,etc.Becausemanyon-sitemeetingsinvolveothervendors,weare notalwaysincontrolofthetimelinesorfrequencyofthesemeetings,sounless notedinyourscope,thistimeisbilledseparatelyfromtheprojectdesignfee.

Ratherthanbillingatanhourlyrateforthedesignprocess,thisflatfee givesourclientsabetterideafromthebeginningoftheprojectofwhatwill berequiredtodothebestjobontheirbehalf.Thisfeeisdevelopedby considerationofourhistoricaldataofsimilarprojects,thesize&scopeof workoutlinedandourestimatedtimetocompletethedeliverables.

MINIMUM EXPENDITURE

MINIMUM EXPENDITURE $60,000

Theminimumexpenditureforyourprojectistheinvestmentinproductsyouare agreeingtopurchasethroughArtisanDesignStudio.ThisistheMINIMUMamount youcanexpecttospendtofurnishyourspaceinamannerconsistentwiththe workyou'veseenfromArtisanDesignStudio.Thisisnotabudgetanddoesnot includesalestax.

Thebenefitstoourclientsofaminimumexpenditure:

Becauseofthevolumewemeetwithourvendors,weareabletoofferverycompetitive pricingfortheitemsincludedinyourexpenditure

Wehaveaccesstouniqueoptionsthataresimplynotavailabletothoseoutsideofthe designtrade

Wecontrolallproductorderstoensureaccuracy

Wetrackallordersregularlytoensureitemsshipandarriveasexpected

Wecontrolthereceivingatourclimatecontrolledwarehousetoensureitemsare inspectedintimetoreportandcorrectanydamages

Projectmanagementfeesarehourlydesignfeesforonsitemeetings/inofficephonecalls, etcthatfalloutsideoftheoriginalscopeoftheproject.Thesearebilledoverandabovethe standardfeesbecauseoftentimes,theseappointmentsarescheduledbyandconductedby outsidetradespeopleandwehavelittlecontroloverthefrequencyanddurationofthese meetings.Thesefeesareaccruedhourlyatareducedrateof$200perhourandbilled monthly

ADDITIONALDESIGNSERVICESREQUESTEDBYTHECLIENTORCONTRACTOR:

Additionaldesignservices,plans,3Dmodelsordrawingsthatarerequestedoutsideofthe agreeduponscopeofworkarebilledatourstandardrateof$200perhour.Anycontractor requestswillalwaysbeapprovedbytheclientpriortoanyworkbeingdone

TRAVELCHARGES:

MostofourprojectsarewithinthenorthAtlantaarea.We'rehappytoworkonprojects outsideofthemetroarea,butprojectsoutsideofa30mileradiusofourstudioinRoswellwill incuratravelchargeof$100perhour

OUTOFTOWNPROJECTS:

Yes!Wewillworkonyourvacationhomeorinvestmentproperty.Feesforoutoftownjobwill beassessedonacasebycasebasis

PLANREVIEW:

CONTRACTOR COMMUNICATION

ANDHOWWEWORKWITHTHEM

Weprideourselvesonourrelationshipsandourcommunication withcontractors,whetheryou'reusingoneofourrecommended contractorsoryourown.Wepromisetoplaywellwitheveryone!

Somecontractorswhohaveworkedwithdesigners(notus!)inthe pastfearthatwemaycomplicatetheprocess.That'ssimplynot truewithArtisanDesignStudio.Wehelpyoustayonbudget,on timelineandensureyouarehappywithhowyourprojectturnsout. Yourcontractorwillfinishtheprojectwithlessstress,happier clientsandaprojecttheywillbeproudtoaddtotheirportfolio.

Wearenotlicensedcontractors,andassuch,wecannotcontrol subschedules&timelines.Wedoworkcloselywithyourcontractor andtheirsubcontractorstomaintainopencommunicationabout timelines

Weareveryconscientiouswhenworkingwithsubsorcontractorsand onlyworkwithandrecommendthosewetrustinourownhomes.We donotwarrantytheirworkorassumeanyliabilityfortheir performance.

PURCHASING, ORDERING, & INVOICING

Furniture&otheritemsmustbepaidinfullattimeofordering

ArtisanDesignStudioisnotresponsibleforpriceincreasesorstock changesduetodelayininvoicepayment.Reselectionduetolack ofpaymentisnotincludedinyourdesignfeeandwillbebilledat ourstandardhourlyrate($200)priortoreplacementitemsbeing ordered

Returnedpaymentswillbeassesseda$55fee

Invoicesmorethan30dayspastduewillincurlatepaymentfees

Wealwaysdoourbesttomoveheavenandearthtogetyour itemsonsiteasquicklyaspossible.Quiteoften,wearesuccessful.

Occasionally,therearemanufacturerdelaysthatareunavoidable Weeklyorderupdateswillbeprovidedforallitemsonorder.Ifyou donotreceiveanupdate,itisbecausetherearenochangesfrom thepreviousweek'supdate

ArtisanDesignStudiowillhandleanywarrantyissueson merchandiseweprovide.Pleasecontactusforwarrantyissues,not themanufacturer.Allwarrantieswillbeinaccordancewiththe manufacturer'spublishedwarrantyforthatitem.

RECEIVING, STORAGE, & DELIVERY

Allitemsareshippedtoourreceivingwarehousefortimely inspection.Thisallowsustohandleanyclaimsordamagesif necessary,andensureyouritemsarekeptsafeuntilreadyfor installation

Receiving,inspection&storagefeeswillaccrueoverthe courseoftheprojectandwillbebilledattheendofthe project.
