Ryan Williams OWNER& PRINCIPLEDESIGNER
Artisan Design Studio is owned by principal designer, Ryan Williams. She has been practicing interior design for over 20 years and has been a business owner for morethan15ofthose.Ryan'sgoalonallofherprojects istolearnaboutherclientsandtheirfamiliestoensure that she's not only creating beautiful spaces for them, but also improving their mental, physical and emotional well being. RyangraduatedwithaBachelorsofSciencedegreein Furnishings&InteriorsfromtheUniversityofGeorgia.
She is an Atlanta native and currently lives with herr husband and two children in Roswell. On Saturdays, you’ll find her cheering them on at baseball, swim team&cheerleading.

The Design Flat Fee
Basedontheagreed-uponprojectscope,wewilldevelopaflatfeeforthedesign servicesneededtocompleteyourproject.Thisensurestherewillbenoguessingat howmuchourserviceswillcost,orsurprisesoninvoices.
The Minimum Expenditure
(this applies primarily to furnishings projects)
Eachfullservicedesignprojectwillincludeaminimumexpenditureontangible elementsfortheproject.Thisexpenditurecanincludefurnishings,rugs,lighting, customwindowtreatments,artwork,bedding,etc.Thisisnotabudgetpersebuta minimumagreeduponamounttoengageourresources.Pleasenotethat minimumexpendituresdonotincludesalestax,freightordelivery&installation.
Project Management - Hourly
Projectmanagementtimeisbilledmonthly.Projectmanagementincludes unplannedorunpredictableon-sitemeetingtimewithyourcontractor, subcontractors,etc.Becausemanyon-sitemeetingsinvolveothervendors,weare notalwaysincontrolofthetimelinesorfrequencyofthesemeetings,sounless notedinyourscope,thistimeisbilledseparatelyfromtheprojectdesignfee.

Ratherthanbillingatanhourlyrateforthedesignprocess,thisflat feegivesourclientsabetterideafromthebeginningoftheproject ofwhatwillberequiredtodothebestjobontheirbehalf.Thisfeeis developedbyconsiderationofourhistoricaldataofsimilarprojects, thesize&scopeofworkoutlinedandourestimatedtimeto completethedeliverables.

CONTRACTOR COMMUNICATION

Weprideourselvesonourrelationshipsandourcommunication withcontractors,whetheryou'reusingoneofourrecommended contractorsoryourown.Wepromisetoplaywellwitheveryone!
Somecontractorswhohaveworkedwithdesigners(notus!)inthe pastfearthatwemaycomplicatetheprocess.That'ssimplynot truewithArtisanDesignStudio.Wehelpyoustayonbudget,on timelineandensureyouarehappywithhowyourprojectturnsout. Yourcontractorwillfinishtheprojectwithlessstress,happier clientsandaprojecttheywillbeproudtoaddtotheirportfolio.
Wearenotlicensedcontractors,andassuch,wecannotcontrol subschedules&timelines.Wedoworkcloselywithyourcontractor andtheirsubcontractorstomaintainopencommunicationabout timelines
Weareveryconscientiouswhenworkingwithsubsorcontractorsand onlyworkwithandrecommendthosewetrustinourownhomes.We donotwarrantytheirworkorassumeanyliabilityfortheir performance.
PURCHASING, ORDERING, & INVOICING
