HOW WE WORK WITH CLIENTS

The Design Flat Fee

Basedontheagreed-uponprojectscope,wewilldevelopaflatfeeforthe designservicesneededtocompleteyourproject.Thisensurestherewillbeno guessingathowmuchourserviceswillcost,orsurprisesoninvoices.

The Minimum Expenditure

(this applies mostly to furnishings projects)

Eachfullservicedesignprojectwillincludeaminimumexpenditureontangible elementsfortheproject.Thisexpenditurecanincludefurnishings,rugs,lighting, customwindowtreatments,artwork,bedding,etc.Thisisnotabudgetperse butaminimumagreed-uponamounttoengageourresources.Pleasenote thatminimumexpendituresdonotincludesalestax,freightorinstallation.

Project Management - Hourly

Projectmanagementtimeisbilledmonthly.Projectmanagementincludes unplannedon-sitemeetingtimewithyourcontractor,subcontractors,etcthatis notincludedinyourdesignfee.Becauseon-sitemeetingsinvolveothervendors, wearenotalwaysincontrolofthetimelinesofthesemeetings,sounlessnoted inyourscope,thistimeisbilledseparatelyfromtheprojectdesignfee.

Yes!Wewillworkonyourvacationhomeorinvestmentproperty.Feesforoutoftownjobwill beassessedonacasebycasebasis

Weprideourselvesonourrelationshipsandourcommunication withcontractors,whetheryou'reusingoneofourrecommended contractorsoryourown.Wepromisetoplaywellwitheveryone!

Somecontractorswhohaveworkedwithdesigners(notus!)inthe pastfearthatwemaycomplicatetheprocess.That'ssimplynot truewithArtisanDesignStudio.Wehelpyoustayonbudget,on timelineandensureyouarehappywithhowyourprojectturnsout. Yourcontractorwillfinishtheprojectwithlessstress,happier clientsandaprojecttheywillbeproudtoaddtotheirportfolio.

Wearenotlicensedcontractors,andassuch,wecannotcontrol subschedules&timelines.Wedoworkcloselywithyourcontractor andtheirsubcontractorstomaintainopencommunicationabout timelines

Weareveryconscientiouswhenworkingwithsubsorcontractorsand onlyworkwithandrecommendthosewetrustinourownhomes.We donotwarrantytheirworkorassumeanyliabilityfortheir performance.

PURCHASING, ORDERING, & INVOICING

Furniture&otheritemsmustbepaidinfullattimeofordering

ArtisanDesignStudioisnotresponsibleforpriceincreasesorstock changesduetodelayininvoicepayment.Reselectionduetolack ofpaymentisnotincludedinyourdesignfeeandwillbebilledat ourstandardhourlyrate($200)priortoreplacementitemsbeing ordered

Returnedpaymentswillbeassesseda$55fee
