The Design Flat Fee

Basedontheagreed-uponprojectscope,wewilldevelopaflatfeeforthe designservicesneededtocompleteyourproject.Thisensurestherewillbeno guessingathowmuchourserviceswillcost,orsurprisesoninvoices.

The Minimum Expenditure

Eachfullservicedesignprojectwillincludeaminimumexpenditureon tangibleelementsfortheproject.Thisexpenditurecanincludefurnishings, rugs,lighting,customwindowtreatments,artwork,bedding,etc.Thisisnota budgetpersebutaminimumagreeduponamounttoengageour resources.Pleasenotethatminimumexpendituresdonotincludesalestax.

Project Management - Hourly

Projectmanagementtimeisbilledmonthly.Projectmanagementincludes on-sitemeetingtimewithyourcontractor,subcontractors,etc.Becauseonsitemeetingsinvolveothervendors,wearenotalwaysincontrolofthe timelinesofthesemeetings,sounlessnotedinyourscope,thistimeisbilled separatelyfromtheprojectdesignfee.

ROPOSED DESIGN FEE

Weunderstandthatourclientsneedtoknowwhattoexpectinthis processaswellasknowtheestimatedcostofachievingthevisionweare workingtocreate

Ratherthanbillingatanhourlyrateforthedesignprocess,thisflatfeegivesour clientsabetterideafromthebeginningoftheprojectofwhatwillberequiredtodo thebestjobontheirbehalf.Thisfeeisdevelopedbyconsiderationofourhistorical dataofsimilarprojects,thesize&scopeofworkoutlinedandourestimatedtimeto completethedeliverables.

Additionalprojectmanagementwillbeinvolvedintheprojectexecutionand coordinationwiththecontractor/subsforanhourlyrateof$200/hourforthisportion oftheservicesisoutlinedontheadditionalservicespage. CONSTRUCTION PHASE DESIGN

Projectmanagementfeesarehourlydesignfeesforonsitemeetings/inofficephonecalls, etcthatfalloutsideoftheoriginalscopeoftheproject.Thesearebilledoverandabovethe standardfeesbecauseoftentimes,theseappointmentsarescheduledbyandconductedby outsidetradespeopleandwehavelittlecontroloverthefrequencyanddurationofthese meetings.Thesefeesareaccruedhourlyatareducedrateof$200perhourandbilled monthly

OUTOFTOWNPROJECTS:

Yes!Wewillworkonyourvacationhomeorinvestmentproperty.Feesforoutoftownjobwill beassessedonacasebycasebasis

Somecontractorswhohaveworkedwithdesigners(notus!)inthe pastfearthatwemaycomplicatetheprocess.That'ssimplynot truewithArtisanDesignStudio.Wehelpyoustayonbudget,on timelineandensureyouarehappywithhowyourprojectturnsout. Yourcontractorwillfinishtheprojectwithlessstress,happier clientsandaprojecttheywillbeproudtoaddtotheirportfolio.

Wearenotlicensedcontractors,andassuch,wecannotcontrol subschedules&timelines.Wedoworkcloselywithyourcontractor andtheirsubcontractorstomaintainopencommunicationabout timelines

Weareveryconscientiouswhenworkingwithsubsorcontractorsand onlyworkwithandrecommendthosewetrustinourownhomes.We donotwarrantytheirworkorassumeanyliabilityfortheir performance.

PURCHASING, ORDERING, & INVOICING

Furniture&otheritemsmustbepaidinfullattimeofordering

ArtisanDesignStudioisnotresponsibleforpriceincreasesorstock changesduetodelayininvoicepayment.Reselectionduetolack ofpaymentisnotincludedinyourdesignfeeandwillbebilledat ourstandardhourlyrate($200)priortoreplacementitemsbeing ordered

Returnedpaymentswillbeassesseda$55fee

Invoicesmorethan30dayspastduewillincurlatepaymentfees

Wealwaysdoourbesttomoveheavenandearthtogetyour itemsonsiteasquicklyaspossible.Quiteoften,wearesuccessful.
