The Design Flat Fee
Basedontheagreed-uponprojectscope,wewilldevelopaflatfeeforthedesign servicesneededtocompleteyourproject.Thisensurestherewillbenoguessingat howmuchourserviceswillcost,orsurprisesoninvoices.
The Minimum Expenditure
(this applies mostly to furnishings projects)
Eachfullservicedesignprojectwillincludeaminimumexpenditureontangible elementsfortheproject.Thisexpenditurecanincludefurnishings,rugs,lighting, customwindowtreatments,artwork,bedding,etc.Thisisnotabudgetpersebuta minimumagreeduponamounttoengageourresources.Pleasenotethat minimumexpendituresdonotincludesalestax,freightordelivery&installation.
Project Management - Hourly
Projectmanagementtimeisbilledmonthly.Projectmanagementincludes unplannedorunpredictableon-sitemeetingtimewithyourcontractor, subcontractors,etc.Becausemanyon-sitemeetingsinvolveothervendors,weare notalwaysincontrolofthetimelinesorfrequencyofthesemeetings,sounless notedinyourscope,thistimeisbilledseparatelyfromtheprojectdesignfee.

ROPOSED DESIGN FEE
PHASE I: FURNISHING DESIGN FEE $14,000
Weunderstandthatourclientsneedtoknowwhattoexpectinthis processaswellasknowtheestimatedcostofachievingthevision weareworkingtocreate
Ratherthanbillingatanhourlyrateforthedesignprocess,thisflatfeegives ourclientsabetterideafromthebeginningoftheprojectofwhatwillbe requiredtodothebestjobontheirbehalf.Thisfeeisdevelopedby considerationofourhistoricaldataofsimilarprojects,thesize&scopeofwork outlinedandourestimatedtimetocompletethedeliverables.
Additionalprojectmanagementwillbeinvolvedintheprojectexecutionand coordinationwiththecontractor/subsforanhourlyrateof$200/hourforthis portionoftheservicesisoutlinedontheadditionalservicespage.
***$7,000dueatstartofproject,balancedue(7,000)within3daysof satisfactoryinstallationofallfurnishingsitemsoutlinedonthescopeof services/minimumexpenditurelist.

CONTRACTOR COMMUNICATION
ANDHOWWEWORKWITHTHEM
Weprideourselvesonourrelationshipsandourcommunication withcontractors,whetheryou'reusingoneofourrecommended contractorsoryourown.Wepromisetoplaywellwitheveryone!
Somecontractorswhohaveworkedwithdesigners(notus!)inthe pastfearthatwemaycomplicatetheprocess.That'ssimplynot truewithArtisanDesignStudio.Wehelpyoustayonbudget,on timelineandensureyouarehappywithhowyourprojectturnsout. Yourcontractorwillfinishtheprojectwithlessstress,happier clientsandaprojecttheywillbeproudtoaddtotheirportfolio.
Wearenotlicensedcontractors,andassuch,wecannotcontrol subschedules&timelines.Wedoworkcloselywithyourcontractor andtheirsubcontractorstomaintainopencommunicationabout timelines
Weareveryconscientiouswhenworkingwithsubsorcontractorsand onlyworkwithandrecommendthosewetrustinourownhomes.We donotwarrantytheirworkorassumeanyliabilityfortheir performance.
PURCHASING, ORDERING, & INVOICING
Furniture&otheritemsmustbepaidinfullattimeofordering
