Artisan Design Studio is owned by principal designer, Ryan Williams. She has been practicing interior design for 20 years and has been a business owner for more than 10 of those. The Design Flat Fee
Based on the agreed-upon project scope, we will develop a flat fee for the design servicesneededtocompleteyourproject.Thisensurestherewillbenoguessingat howmuchourserviceswillcost,orsurprisesoninvoices.
The Minimum Expenditure
Each full service design project will include a minimum expenditure on tangible elements for the project. This expenditure can include furnishings, rugs, lighting, customwindowtreatments,artwork,bedding,etc.Thisisnotabudgetpersebuta minimum agreed upon amount to engage our resources. Please note that minimumexpendituresdonotincludesalestax,freightordelivery&installation.
Project Management - Hourly
Project management time is billed monthly. Project management includes unplanned or unpredictable on-site meeting time with your contractor, subcontractors,etc.Becausemanyon-sitemeetingsinvolveothervendors,weare not always in control of the timelines or frequency of these meetings, so unless notedinyourscope,thistimeisbilledseparatelyfromtheprojectdesignfee.

ROPOSED DESIGN FEE
Weunderstandthatourclientsneedtoknowwhattoexpectinthis processaswellasknowtheestimatedcostofachievingthevisionweare workingtocreate.
Ratherthanbillingatanhourlyrateforthedesignprocess,thisflatfeegivesour clientsabetterideafromthebeginningoftheprojectofwhatwillberequiredtodo thebestjobontheirbehalf.Thisfeeisdevelopedbyconsiderationofourhistorical dataofsimilarprojects,thesize&scopeofworkoutlinedandourestimatedtimeto completethedeliverables.
Theprojectfeeisbasedonanestimated83hoursofworkfromtheteam atArtisanDesignStudio.Wewillprovideperiodicupdatesonthenumber ofhoursused.Ifyourhoursareexhausted,youwillhavetheoptiontoadd moretimetoyourdesignfee.
Additionalprojectmanagementwillbeinvolvedintheprojectexecutionand coordinationwiththecontractor/subsforanhourlyrateof$200/hourforthisportion oftheservicesisoutlinedontheadditionalservicespage. DESIGN FEE $16,500

CONTRACTOR COMMUNICATION
ANDHOWWEWORKWITHTHEM
Weprideourselvesonourrelationshipsandourcommunication withcontractors,whetheryou'reusingoneofourrecommended contractorsoryourown.Wepromisetoplaywellwitheveryone!
Somecontractorswhohaveworkedwithdesigners(notus!)inthe pastfearthatwemaycomplicatetheprocess.That'ssimplynot truewithArtisanDesignStudio.Wehelpyoustayonbudget,on timelineandensureyouarehappywithhowyourprojectturnsout. Yourcontractorwillfinishtheprojectwithlessstress,happier clientsandaprojecttheywillbeproudtoaddtotheirportfolio.
Wearenotlicensedcontractors,andassuch,wecannotcontrol subschedules&timelines.Wedoworkcloselywithyourcontractor andtheirsubcontractorstomaintainopencommunicationabout timelines
Weareveryconscientiouswhenworkingwithsubsorcontractorsand onlyworkwithandrecommendthosewetrustinourownhomes.We donotwarrantytheirworkorassumeanyliabilityfortheir performance.
PURCHASING, ORDERING, & INVOICING
