‫זה לא בית אבות‬ ‫הפרויקט עוסק בשאלת ההזדקנות‬ ‫בחברה‪ ,‬הדימוי התרבותי של ה"זקנים"‪,‬‬ ‫הנורמות החברתית בהם שרויים‬ ‫הקשישים ואיך המציאות הזו אינה‬ ‫גזירת גורל אלא הזדמנות לשינוי‪.‬‬

‫מה היא המשמעות של אותן‬ ‫שנים שנוספו לנו? האם אלה הם‬ ‫שנים של התמעטות יכולות הת־‬ ‫רומה שלנו לעצמנו ולחברה וגי־‬ ‫דול בתלות שלנו בתמיכה חיצו־‬ ‫נית‪ ,‬כלכלית‪ ,‬רפואית וחברתית?‬ ‫איך יראו מרחבי הבית‪ ,‬המס־‬ ‫דרון‪ ,‬הרחוב‪ ,‬והשכונה שלנו?‬

‫הפרויקט מציג תפיסה חדשה על‬ ‫העתיד שלנו ‪ -‬איך אנחנו נרצה‬ ‫לחיות‪ ,‬לגור‪ ,‬לבלות‪ ,‬להיפגש‬ ‫ולהיות חלק מהקהילה והעיר‪.‬‬

‫בן ‪ 70‬של היום הוא לא בן ה־‪70‬‬ ‫של הדורות הקודמים‪ .‬הוא לא רק‬ ‫מאריך ימים‪ ,‬אלא גם בריא יותר‪,‬‬ ‫משכיל יותר ויכול לתרום תרומה‬ ‫גדולה יותר לעצמו ולסביבתו מזו‬ ‫של בני גילו בדורות הקודמים‪.‬‬

‫הזדמנות שנובעת מהאופן התיכ־‬ ‫נוני של מרחבי החיים שלהם כיום‪.‬‬

‫הנתונים הדמוגרפיים על העלייה‬ ‫בתוחלת החיים במאתיים השנים‬ ‫האחרונות ‪ -‬וזו שעוד צפויה לנו‬ ‫בעשורים הבאים ‪ -‬הם מדהימים‪.‬‬ ‫במהלך של מאה השנים האחרו־‬ ‫נות עלתה תוחלת החיים הממוצעת‬ ‫במדינות המערב בכשלושים שנה‪,‬‬ ‫והיא ממשיכה לעלות בקצב מהיר‪.‬‬ ‫הצפי הוא שב־‪ 2050‬מספר‬ ‫האנשים מעל גיל ‪ 65‬יעלה על‬ ‫מספר הילדים עד גיל חמש‪.‬‬

‫באמצעות תכנון מכליל‪ ,‬מחשבה‬ ‫על מרחבי תעסוקה ופנאי מגוונים‬ ‫השזורים במרחבי הדיור הפרטיים‪,‬‬ ‫ניתן יהיה לייצר מערכת אורבנית‬ ‫שתתן מענה לצרכים חברתיים‪-‬תר־‬ ‫בותיים‪-‬בריאותיים של הקשישים‪.‬‬ ‫מעבר לכך‪ ,‬התכנון יתרום ליצירת‬ ‫וחיזוק הקשר בין דורי‪ ,‬לאפש־‬ ‫רות להישאר בקהילה ולהשתתף‬ ‫בחיי העיר באופן אינטגרלי וטבעי‪.‬‬

‫לו הייתי ראש|ת העיר‬ ‫חווית השיתוף הולכת ומעצי־‬ ‫מה‪ ,‬ולנו יש את הזכות לבחור‬ ‫לאן להשתייך‪ .‬אנו חולקים‬ ‫רכבים‪ ,‬דירות‪ ,‬רעיונות ודעות‬ ‫ואפילו מטבע לפי העולם שאנו‬ ‫בונים לעצמו‪.‬‬ ‫לא כי נולדו כך‪ ,‬אלא כי אלו‬ ‫חלק מקבוצת הערכים שבח־‬ ‫רנו לחיות על פיהם‪ .‬אם נד־‬ ‫מיין עולם קיצוני יותר‪ ,‬של חיי‬ ‫קהילה השייכת לנו‪ ,‬ללא התע־‬ ‫רבותה של המדינה ‪ -‬איזה מבנה‬ ‫ארכיטקטוני יתמוך בה? איך‬ ‫חברי הקהילה יעלו במדרגות‪,‬‬ ‫ישבו על המרפסת וינועו ברח־‬ ‫בי העיר? היכן הם יפגשו? מהי‬ ‫תצורת החיים של המבנה החב־‬ ‫רתי‪-‬כלכלי הזה?‬ ‫הפרויקט בוחן את האפשרויות‬ ‫הדיגיטליות הקיימות היום‪ ,‬וכי־‬ ‫צד יוכלו לאפשר שיתוף ציבור‬

‫מלא ופרודוקטיבי‪ .‬הרעיון‬ ‫הוא חידוש התפיסה עליה‬ ‫מתבססים מתכנני ערים ואד־‬ ‫ריכלים‪ ,‬והכנה לפעולות עי־‬ ‫רוניות‪-‬סביבתיות המושתתות‬ ‫על צרכים עכשוויים ‪ ,‬לא לפי‬ ‫תב"ע שהוכנה לפני ‪ 30‬שנים‪.‬‬ ‫בכך‪ ,‬לעדכן את החוויה העירו־‬ ‫נית ולאשר חיים מגוונים ומ־‬ ‫תואמים יותר לתושבים‪.‬‬ ‫השינוי המערכתי שאנו רו־‬ ‫צים ליצור לא יכול להתרחש‬ ‫רק באמצעות חקיקה‪ ,‬הדרך‬ ‫אליו כרוכה במחשבה מחדש‬ ‫על האופן שבו אנחנו “עושים”‬ ‫דמוקרטיה (שיתוף ציבור) וב־‬ ‫עיצוב כלים חברתיים חדשים‬ ‫לשימוש התושבים‪ .‬הפרויקט‬ ‫ייצג תפיסה רחבה ‪ -‬לא עוד‬ ‫עיר שרק מספקת שירותים‬ ‫לתושבים‪ ,‬אלא עיר שיש לה‬ ‫גם אחריות‪ :‬לחזק את החיים‬ ‫הדמוקרטים עצמם‪.‬‬

This project evaluates balance within urban environment, by rethinking the composition and configuration of fundamental architectural elements. The understanding of the natural habitat of these elements and how they perform as a whole create a balanced, stable architecture. Through urban analysis of a suburb in southern Tokyo, in the Kamata neighborhood, one can discern the essential state of the elements. They reveal their independent nature, as each element can be detached from its context and restructured into new configurations. The presence of each item, along with scale and quantity, create uniform spaces that function efficiently for human activity. The XL representation shows a known, familiar state of these elements in space, which emphasizes the conventional, universal

understanding of what an element is. Opposed to the need for a monumental structure, the project explores the potential of the elements through an XS scale, while aiming to express balances that allow social coexistence. These elements stand against separation processes, seeking for alternative ways to live together by creating scenarios that make reference to the stability or instability of living within a society. The search for balance/unbalance in basic human activities is expressed through proportions, the unification between the different and the unknown, the pace, the juxtaposition and trust between elements, their dependence and independence that can (or could) hold urban situations within daily life in reality. The alternative reality of the elements encourages a second look at the builtin architecture, which raises questions about the possibilities of reality and imagination in space through basic means, by talking about todayâ€™s society and how we live within it.

XS 01- BALANCE-UNBALANCE The basic understanding that marks the development of the project: each element can be detached from its context and restructured into new configurations.

XS 02- MALEABILITY One personâ€™s sitting spot is the result of a balance between a space that allows softness and constrange, but only within the limits it defines for us beforehand.

XS 03 - CYCLE Balance between the natural course of the water (falling) and its power to simultaneously give life.

XS 04 - POWER A balance between the speaker and its crowd, it supports the speaker. Without the crowd, the speaker has no credibility, so it canâ€™t stand alone. He relies on the power of the people.

XS 05- FRAMING Balance between openness and framing through a window within and open landscape. the window does the work for man on how to look at the world, how to understand something that is bigger than he is.

XS 06 - DONATION The house as a stage for public activity, the way it donates its space for collective well-being. Balance between the private intention and the public interaction, where one gives, the other receives.

XS 07 - TRANSITION The balance lies within the possibility to experience an irrevocable phenomenon - death - within a dynamic system.

XS 09- DEPENDENCE A system where balance is a requirement. The dependence between the users generates a spatial logic that can work only if everyone moves accordingly.

XS 10 - CONTROL A net becomes a livable space that allows alignment between infinite information that is up on the network and our attempt to catch it and control it.

Urban Continuity Culture, community and residence Instructors: Matan Sapir Assistant: Nitzan Zilberman The project deals with mixed uses of culture, commerce and housing, with an emphasis on a core that unites human and environmental space. After an environmental analysis and wandering around the area, it became clear that Talpiot has enormous potential for building residential and cultural-urban value, which is not in the center of the city. Today there is a Subaru garage in the lot, and the uniqueness of the lot is its change according to the mountain, sitting in the ground, and the quality or the disadvantage (depending on how you look) on the field and that's what guided me to planning. The parameters that led to the planning of the program were

free movement, creating a community and harmony between uses. Therefore, a plan that creates two worlds together was the solution: an upper world dedicated to an open public square and living quarters, and a "lower" world devoted to cultural activity and cooperative activity by the residents. The idea is to create a public culture square on the upper level of the field and below it additional cultural complexes such as galleries, a dance studio, a theater, a cinematheque and a cafĂŠ. The residential complex will be built around the square according to apartments of one and a half to three rooms, since on the lower level will be built complexes common to the tenants of the project such as laundry, bicycle rental and more.

CHURCH OF SAN CARLO Basic design Helly Rahamimov Analysis of the Church of San Carlo in Rome | Boromini Light | baroque The inner light of the Church of San Carlo was a fascinating subject for me. The light of the construction made it clear that the light had freed the structure from its physical limitations and as if the materials had been amplified so that the properties of the material changed completely: a stone wall feels light, a small space becomes large, the

rough front wall becomes velvet. Indirect light also penetrates the space of the structure, it can be broken or returned, but when it hits the road in the curves, arches and curves is returned from them, it becomes more soft, vague, as if smoked. In such a situation, the sun's rays lose their sharp contours and the light transforms from a two-dimensional linear phenomenon with a clear frame to a three-dimensional volumetric phenomenon, such as an aura. This is the Baroque experience that creates a dynamic, full of drama, emotion, stretched to infinity.
