CAR COUNT AND SALES

Does higher volume lead to increased sales?

BY CHRIS JONES

Is it better to push out cars quickly or slow the pace and be thorough? While a high car count is great, a lower car count with a careful eye may be better. The Ratchet+Wrench Industry Survey found more cars meant a lower ARO and closing ratio and fewer opportunities spotted. While a higher volume of cars produces some revenue, slowing the pace could generate more profit.
