Midtronics has a new battery and electrical system analyzer

The new CPX-900 Battery and Electrical Analyzer from Midtronics evaluates reserve capacity, a measure of a battery’s ability to sustain the electrical loads required by a vehicle over time. Midtronics says the CPX-900 is built with integrated Wi-Fi, which enables easy sharing of battery test results with customers via email. Cloud-based storage of battery testing data and analytical reporting is available with a subscription to the Midtronics Battery Management Information System (BMIS). Ranger LS43B balancer pinpoints wheel weight locations

The LS43B wheel balancer by Ranger is designed to optimize wheel weight placements with BendPak’s Laser-Spot technology. BendPak says the laser line clearly indicates outboard and inboard weight placements for balances within hundredths of an ounce. The Ranger LS43B handles wheels up to 43 inches in diameter. Drive-over tread depth tool measures edge wear

Hunter Engineering has released its next-generation drive-over tire tread depth measuring tool, Quick Tread Edge. Edge wear detection capability is a new feature that provides a greater analysis of overall tire condition. The company says Quick Tread Edge enables service providers to better identify tire wear on the “edge” of every tire to provide a complete summary of a tire’s overall tread depth for customers. Quick Tread Edge can be installed as a standalone unit with two mounting options or integrated in a flush mount configuration with the Quick Check Drive touchless alignment inspection system.
