Amáli Designer, Sara Freedenfeld, discovered her passion for making jewelry while backpacking through South America. In Chile, she learned to combine natural elements with knotted strings to form intricate wearable art. In Venezuela, she met an artist who taught her how to link and mold metal.
Drawing inspiration from the natural landscapes and vibrant textiles that colored her travels, Sara set out to create a line of jewelry that unites the simplicity of handcrafted artistry with the glamour of high fashion.
Using 18k gold and a wide array of gemstones, Amáli pieces have a fabric-like sensibility, created by intricately weaving chains and stones to create rich, fluid textures.

The history of ”Gerochristo Jewelry” began in 1900 from the grand-father of Gerochristo’s family
In 1900 the grand-father of Gerochristo family Spiros Gerochristos, started making tessellated Byzantine icons and other objects using wood, glass and stones, expressing through them the vividness of his creativeness, his artistic nature and the experience of centuries of Byzantine art .
His son George Gerochristos, inherited his creative talend and focused in making various handly objects, of unique technique.
Unfortunately, the II World War interrupted the artistic activities of Gerochristo’s family, diverting them into other areas, more essential in their survival.
Despite that, the ”microbe” of the artist of the grand-father and father , was not wasted.
In 1975 Spiros Gerochristos enhanced his talend in the ”Goldsmithery school of Athens”. At the same time worked next to very renowned goldsmiths, craftsmen and engravers of that time.
At the age of 24, Spiros establishes his first jewelry workshop, in Athens. 10 years later his cousin George Gerochristos stiffened the company’s work-force, taking over the financial management.
Sofia Gerochristo the daughter of Spiro Gerochristo grew up in this atmosphere of creativity and in 2002 she choose to follow studies in the goldsmiths of Athens ‘MOKUME’ which completed in 2005.
From then on she has taken the company’s management and followed a very effective roadmap deeply respecting the company’s tradition but at the same time adding the essential touches of fresh air where deemed necessary, in order for the company to move forward with confidence into a new era.

Barry Verragio
In his over 25 year career as a designer of fine jewelry for some of the most well-known names in jewelry manufacturing, Barry Verragio has learned the value of craftsmanship and dedication to quality.
Barry first learned the craft of creating jewelry as an apprentice. To enhance his natural designing abilities, Barry studied at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Having mastered ring design, he eventually paved the way to establishing his own company, based on the development of his then exclusive setting technique. This very setting technique was just the beginning of the realization that the possibilities were truly endless when designing an engagement ring. Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity was “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” says Verragio. “This is the exact theory that has fueled me to believe that one should never settle for average.”
With the growth of Verragio over the years, Barry’s vision has become anything but average. Verragio continues to create engagement rings and wedding bands that are cutting edge, but with a classic foundation, for today’s discerning bride-to-be. Fifty years ago,
A man with a talent for design and engineering arrived in New York City with just two hundred dollars in his pocket. Coming from a family in the jewelry business, he began working as an apprentice in the Diamond District to save money for college.
It was here that he developed an obsession for all things jewelry. The artistry, the intricacy, the craftsmanship and - most importantly – the joy it brings to the people that wear it all appealed to his passion for creating something beautiful and meaningful.
He started making pieces in his spare time and was soon selling his signature designs to local jewelers by going door-to-door. His hobby turned into a lifelong pursuit and Simon G was born.
The rest, as they say, is history. For over four decades, our family-owned company has been delighting people far and wide with timeless jewelry thoughtfully crafted to celebrate all of life’s special moments.
