14 DAYs lAter We are now so deep in Quarantine Chic, our dolls go to empty grocery stores in their fanciest apparel. (Betty wants you to know it’s Monster High gear.) We have seen a Zoom video conference birthday toast with hats (and Betty) because a haircut just wasn’t happening this week.

The ad for Huntington Learning Center needed a round of applause I thought for using a photo that summed up all the (fake) academic drama I’ve been reading in Facebook groups this week. The rest of the memes just made me laugh.

it’s a toss up When else were they going to have two days to make paper airplanes, decorate them, battle with them, get excited about new designs, make more planes, and pose for pictures while throwing them? Time is not running out this week. We are cooking and cleaning and doing homework and still have so much time to stop and really enjoy paper airplanes.

on the mind of carly who has been quarantined by her parents

I will never again take the subway for granted.

Will I tire of bad reality TV over the course of this quarantine and be forced to watch something respectable/of critical acclaim?

It’s kind of rude that seasonal allergies didn’t just see what we were dealing with and take the year off.

I feel like I owe my mom a really good review on Yelp for dropping meals at my door while I’m selfquarantined.

Birthday cake and cocktails

taste just as good on a lawn chair in the street as they do at a restaur ant.

Distance really does make the heart grow fonder.

I really miss places.
