Barbara M. Gilbert has always followed her heart to help the charities she can. She sits on the Board of Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Barry University, School of Business, Penn Medicine for Women and the Palm Beach Symphony Development committee. A sustainer member of the Junior League of Palm Beach she enjoys learning about the charities and their missions. Barbara has chaired many Galas for the charities in Palm Beach and Philadelphia.

Early on in Barbara’s career she was a Capital Campaign specialist, and represented the Philadelphia Orchestra in the building of the Kimmel Center Symphony Hall, helped to save The Pennsylvania Ballet and worked on the Endowment and Building of many Private Schools in the Main Line area of Pennsylvania. She then opened who own Capital Campaign company. Today she is thriving in Palm Beach County as the FVP, Market Manager of Valley Bank, and helps many of the local Charities such as Admirals Cove Foundation with the help of Valley Bank and the wonderful Community Programs that they offer. She has made non profit banking one of her specialties to mesh her two careers.
