ART+OBJECT’s final major art auction of 2013 will take place on Tuesday November 26th. Historically one of the strongest auctions of the calendar year, this sale features several early highlights including a superb consignment of two important paintings by Pat Hanly purchased by the current owner from the seminal 1973 ‘Allsorts’ exhibition, held at Barry Lett Galleries. Another notable early consignment is Colin McCahon’s resplendent elemental landscape painting from 1968, entitled South Canterbury Landscape.
Further entries are now invited up until November 1st. Catalogue entries are limited. Regular appraisal dates are also available throughout the rest of the country.
