Moths to a Flame - Inspired by moths, over 58,000 people participated in this award winning artwork which explores our relationship with energy and asks us to heal rather than harm our Earth.
Nearly 80,000 people joined the audience live and over 350,000 people saw the project through TV and radio broadcasts.
What's in this book?
This book is a collection of images and words reflecting the spirit, abundance, generosity, learning and hope that flowed through the project.
Included are poems from the poetry slam and messages from participants, images selected to show the chronology of the project's development, a record of things learned from moths and thought pieces from The Art and Energy Collective.
Then, as a culmination of all our learning from this project we have developed a Compass, a framework for anyone considering making environmentally engaged participatory art projects in these times. You will find it navigating its way throughout this book.
