New Work by Rafael Soares
We are delighted to have new work by Rafael Soares in the barn. Having worked with Rafael for decades, his work leaves us in awe. Each creature is meticulously rendered and yet there is something more. Soares has an uncanny way to capture the animal’s soul: a nervous rabbit, determined donkey, eager chipmunk, regal birds and animated piglets. They are a joy to behold.
Beyond the works in the show, Rafael happily does commissions and we are fortunate to have had many of our dogs and horses captured by Rafael. It the back of this catalogue are several of the commissions he executed through us over the years. These works are a pleasure to live with.
