We hope that this carefully curated show of bright and beautiful flowers will enliven your days during this troubling time. Each of these works is available for purchase, and, in addition to supporting the all-important arts now, ten per cent of your purchase will be donated to Neighbor to Neighbor, the area food bank which, for 45 years, has been providing groceries and clothing to local families experiencing economic stress.

Several months ago when we set out to mount a spring show of paintings and drawings of flowers, our intention was to celebrate spring with famous names and new names. Given the stressful and difficult challenges which emerged with the onset of the current pandemic, we honed our selection, limiting the work to living artists who we can help support and encourage during this time. Many of these artists are local to the New York area and Fairfield County, and all are working hard to keep the arts alive in the face of the terrible news with which we are bombarded every day.

It is our goal – and the artists’ desire - to give a little joy and hope during this very dark time in our history.
