Himalayan Children’s Fund News Dear Friends Everyone is managing well with the most recent lockdown in Nepal. The in-person classes at SMD during the month of April enabled a basis for online nal exams and grade determination for students through Class 9. In lieu of the national SEE exam, individual schools will be allowed to evaluate Class 10 students for graduation ~ welcome news for the students The new school year will begin shortly, and until further notice, the structure will remain the same: online classes for students staying in the Kathmandu Valley and in person classes in the mountains. SMD staff is organizing an exchange and distribution of books, stationery and other needs for the children, including food for the families With gratitude for your kind support. ~ Debra An Please enjoy and share the newsletter!
