Himalayan Children’s Fund News
Dear Friends,
Greetings from Vajra Vidya Institute in Sarnath, which has also become known (through Indian government tourism) as the Golden Temple!
Having visited many of Thrangu Rinpoche’s institutions in Nepal during the month of November I am winding up the trip with time at VVI and Pullahari Drubkhang. There is much news to share and many lovely stories ~ too much for one newsletter, so there will be more to come.
Here at VVI, 149 shedra monks and teachers have recently arrived from Namo Buddha to continue their studies and prepare for the 25th Kagyu Guncho which will be hosted at VVI from December 31 to January 29. This will be followed by participation in the Kagyu Monlam February 5 to 12 in Bodhgaya at which time they will return to VVI.
With gratitude for your kind support
~ Debra Ann
