Himalayan Children’s Fund News Dear Friends We are truly delighted by the response to our Matching Fund Campaign for SMD. There was so much enthusiasm that it took less than a month to complete the full $15,000.00 challenge. Providing $30,000.00 in additional support will go a long way to help SMD provide for the children, families and staff through the winter Our deep gratitude is accompanied by our joy and great respect for the compassionate generosity of all of our donors. Visit: Great NonPro ts and share some love! TARA ABBEY ~ SHER GOMPA The conclusion ceremony for the nuns in 3 year retreat was held on November 24 ~ Thrangu Rinpoche’s birthday. The 8 nuns from Tara Abbey were scheduled to nish in the spring of this year but were delayed due to the coronavirus. When it was safe to travel, Khenpo Chonyi and Lama Ajo traveled to Sher Gompa in Manang to perform the ceremony. It was a joyous day celebrated with family and other well-wishers.
