Himalayan Children’s Fund News Dear Friends The annual Thrangu Tsedrup which concluded on November 7th looked a little different this year. Rather than a considerable congregation of nuns, monks and lay practitioners gathering together at Namo Buddha, each group remained in their own safe bubble. Tara Abbey, VVI, Namo Buddha and the Boudha monastery all held the puja independently and safely SMD students continue to study online and hold classes in the mountains and Shedra monks have been engaged in a variety of examinations. Tara Abbey nuns are engaged in a sponsored 5 day reading of the Tripitaka in honor of Thrangu Rinpoche’s birthday November 24th. We also offer our sincere gratitude and long life wishes. HAPPY BIRTHDAY THRANGU RINPOCHE On the occasion of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Birthday on November 24th a worldwide sangha celebration has been organized during which Rinpoche will give a short audience via the Zoom platform.
