Himalayan Children’s Fund News Dear Friends, There is an air of excitement at SMD these days ~ 60 students will be enrolled on campus in late November! Since the beginning of the pandemic the school has been unable to accept new students and there are a few SMD students who have been unable to join online classes, so arrangements are being made to bring these children to SMD in order to join the 2021/2022 school year. The children will be brought gradually to the school and quarantined while they take placement tests and settle into the girls hostel. Classes will be held in the outdoor covered classrooms that were used after the 2015 earthquake and all COVID -19 protocols will continue as usual. There is much preparation needed for this wonderful undertaking including extra nancial aid. Please see the SMD story below to learn how donations can be made and matched. Thank you for your kind support. Please enjoy and share the newsletter! ~ Debra Ann
