Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox appeal Come and join us in this exciting project to give children around the world a Gift this Christmas by packing a Shoebox to send to communities where families struggle to provide for their children. Something special to make a child smile in this season of Giving. Wrap and pack your shoebox with toys, a cuddly bear, stationery, soap and a toothbrush, other items like a scarf, hat, gloves, T-shirt, cap, hair accessories, sun glasses etc. Whatever you can fit in that’s new. Or donate a selection of the above which can be used in many boxes – a few packets of crayons or small colouring books, knitted hats, packet of hair clips – anything NEW gratefully received to put a smile on their faces! The Shoebox drop off point is Epworth Baptist Church, Station Road, Epworth DN9 1JZ Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9 to 10am Or we can arrange collection from you if you have a few boxes or gifts Last date - Sunday 14th November to ensure they are sent for Christmas. Choose an age range for a Boy or Girl (ages: 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14), pack your items and add a donation of £5 to help pay for transport and distribution costs. You can also pack a box online or donate here and follow your box’s journey.
