Branton Coffee Club continues to provide a warm and fabulous welcome to everyone on Tuesday mornings at Kilham Hall, Branton. The wonderful committee members ensure a funfilled morning, offering a variety of activities including quizzes, bingo, raffles, and — of course — plenty of laughter, delicious cakes, tea and coffee.
The Coffee Club makes a real effort to ensure everyone feels special, and recently they had the joy of celebrating Vi’s 105th birthday!

Vi was showered with flowers, cards, chocolates, and a selection of delicious homemade cakes lovingly baked by her daughter, Anne. Another member, Shirley, also celebrated her birthday recently — many happy returns, Shirley!
I wonder — is there anyone local aged over 105? If so, we’d love to hear from you and help share and celebrate such monumental milestones. Please do get in touch!
Cantley with Branton WI
Our monthly meetings take place on the second Thursday of the month, with the next one on Thursday 8th May 2025 7 pm until 9pm in Kilham Hall, Branton, Doncaster, DN3 3PF
There will be light refreshments and a raffle. We have weekly coffee mornings, monthly cinema trips, theatre trips and a walking group.

Richard Langton’s Memorial
I was sent this lovely photograph of Richard Langton’s memorial at Auckley Park by local resident June Scott.
Brendan, Auckley’ Parish Council’s handyman has made a great job of clearing and tidying the memorial for everyone to enjoy.
Richard was a local resident who played for the Auckley Football team when he sadly passed away as a young man 25 years ago this October.
The memorial was arranged by Richard’s family, the Auckley Football team and Auckley Parish Council in memory of Richard who was a much loved member of our community. It’s lovely to see the memorial looking beautiful.
