community, amplifying the voices of the individuals who make our city special.
At Arrow we believe in the artistic growth of our city and the power that art and design have to strengthen our community, amplifying the voices of the individuals who make our city special. This holiday season, we're proud to be able to promote and support over 85 individual artists at the Holiday Bazaar.
The Holiday Bazaar was a time honored tradition at Memphis College of Art for 69 years, and one of our personal favorite events during the holidays. Arrow staff, participating artists, board of directors and volunteers are honored to carry the torch. This year’s show is not to be missed. In our expanded facilities off Central Avenue, the artists and makers of Memphis are sure to make your holidays bright!
Every dollar you spend in the Arrow marketplace goes to support local creative small businesses. Last year, because of your financial support, Arrow provided over $45,000 in funds directly to local creatives through sales in the marketplace and teaching opportunities with the community. This holiday season, we’re proud to be able to promote and support over 85 individual artists at the Holiday Bazaar.

Arrow Creative has a new home just off Central Avenue, which serves as the hub for the Memphis creative community. With artist studios on site, shared equipment, co-working space, and classes year round, a visit to Arrow is sure to delight and inspire your inner creative.
“I do a lot of sewing and the ability to have equipment that’s set up and ready to go is incredible for an artist. This kind of shared art making space makes so much sense,” said Memphis artist Douglas Repetto. “It’s something that Memphis needs. To have all the equipment yourself is really hard and really wasteful. To have professional equipment, to have people I can ask for advice is really trans-formative as an artist. Finding Arrow has just been wonderful.”
Meet the artists and watch them work, then purchase a piece from their stu dio to take home. Learn a new skill, work on specialized equipment, or sup port the budding mini-maker with classes for kids, all in one location. With special events, artist chats, and multiple galleries with ever changing exhibi tions, every visit to Arrow offers something new to appreciate, enjoy, observe or learn.
Many makers in Memphis find themselves without the resources and space they need to create. Since our opening, we have worked to make Arrow a place for artists to grow as solo entrepreneurs in Memphis. Arrow provides, to the art enthusiast as well as the creative entrepreneur, equipment, classes, work space, gallery, exhibitions, creative studios, and a retail area to create a thriving center where art and business merge.
Become a part our creative community and Keep Memphis Creative.

ARROW’S PROGRAMS
Memphis Fashion Week
The original creative entrepreneur endeavor, MFW is held each year and promotes local designers. The event is supported through sponsors and ticket sales.
Holiday Bazaar
A continuation of the beloved tradition from Memphis College of Art. Arrow hosted the first annual bazaar December of 2020. With over 100 artists represented, this is one of Arrow's top fundraisers.
Mini Maker Summer Camp
Youth summer camp is an 8 week camp for kids ages 9-17. Arrow continues this programming from MCA and facilitates sessions with professional artists.
Adult Creative Classes
Arrow offers classes for adults looking to fine tune their skills. Mediums include jewelry making, candles, drawing and painting, textiles, photography and more.
Makers Studios
Arrow purchased art making equipment from Memphis College of Art in order to provide accessible work spaces for local makers. Through a $35/month membership, artists can work on professional equipment in the medium of their choice.
Youth Creative Entrepreneur Advancement
Arrow has teamed up with youth organizations and local high schools to provide entrepreneur advancement to youth through work study and studios, supported by AutoZone.
Artist's Studios
Arrow provides artists studios where creatives can work and sell in one place. Ideally, artists should be able to pay for their studios just by being present.
NEW CLASSES
Arrow’s mission is to make art more accessible in order to inspire the creative spirit in all Memphians. We are a premier source of creative entrepreneur enrichment, arts education, and art immersion for the entire community. Arrow has expanded upon Memphis College of Art’s suc cessful existing programming with eight weeks of summer camp, year long adult education programming, Holiday Bazaar and individual artist enrichment.
Many makers in our city, even with their skills and drive to create, find themselves without the resources and space they need to thrive. Creative entrepreneurs and hobbyists find themselves at a loss for space and equipment to safely and affordably create. Arrow addresses these needs by pro viding studios, coworking spaces, and workshops for local arts enthusiasts.
Through independent and community research, levels of existing need within the Mem phis creative community have been identified. Arrow addresses these needs individually with tailored programming, education, and spaces.
Arrow’s New Home
In February of 2021, in order to increase our capacity to serve creatives in Memphis, Arrow moved into a 23,000 square foot building from our concept shop on Broad Avenue. Upon moving into the new space, Arrow completed Phase I to build out the marketplace with artists’ studios, a retail store, classroom space and four dedicated galleries.
Completing Phase I of our project not only has increased our earned income streams, but has also enabled us to reach our goal of better supporting our creatives and engaging art enthusiasts. However, to truly achieve the community impact we planned for, making art accessible to all, we must complete Phase II of our project.
Phase II Supports the Creative Entrepreneur
The completion of Phase II will enable Arrow to fulfill its vision, including building out labs with equipment and tools, career development for working artists, and more robust educational programming.
Arrow is a creative’s dream. A space filled with life, creativity and passion. The options for personal and communal growth are endless. We invite you to join us to help point our local creative to a sustained future of financial success, community and support.
