ABOUT THE TYPEFACE Beastly is a slab serif typeface designed by James Edmondson and published through OH no Type Co. in 2018. The design features heavy slabs with extreme contrast between thick and thin strokes. The family is available in nine optical sizes with increasing levels of contrast. Beastly was the custom typeface designed for the Lubalin 100 project. While it imbues many of the qualities of Lubalins team of lettering artists signature styles, its a completely new design.
