WHY DO WE CALL IT “ÁRPÁD PALINKA” ?

Choosing the name for a brand is always a very difficult and responsible decision as it can establish its awareness and judgement for long years. In our manufactory it has been a tradition for generations that the first-born son inherits the Christian name “Árpád” in the family. At present three generations bear this name, father, his son and his grandson. As a matter of course, not only has the name been inherited for generations, but also the master distiller knowledge, the vocation and the passion for the profession pass from father to son.

INTRODUCTION THE MANUFACTORY Árpád Palinka is made in a family manufactory, in an exhibition distillery that can be found on Kisrét farmland in Békéscsaba.

Distillation is made by traditional “kisüsti” (small pot) and modern column still equipment, which is supplemented, of course,bycomputer-controlledfermentation equipment and an own orchard.

We work in a familial atmosphere, 12 colleagues take care of the premium quality and the high level of service.

Our strengths are the combined and the separate use of the two technologies, the professional knowledge of the four master distillers regarding palinka distillation and judging, continuous innovation and the team’s perfectionism.

Our manufactory won the title of “Hungary’s Most Successful Commercial Distillery” four times.

Our Premium Red Williams Pear Palinka won the title of “Hungary’s Best Palinka”.

Our Premium Lepotica Plum became the distillate of the year in the international “Destillata” competition.

We won the title of “Békés County’s Best Palinka” two times.

DOUBLE BEDDED PALINKA

Award-winning palinkas of high quality, exciting, modern, clean-designed bottles with unique look. They are made exclusively from the noblest cultivated and wild fruit representing the best the characteristics of the given type, bottled by hand and filled in numbered bottles, with care for the slightest details.

Double bedded palinka is the unique development of Árpád Palinka. The origin of the name of the product line comes from the production process itself. We get the base palinka by blending two types of palinka. After the blending we age the palinka on a fruit bed made of fresh and dried fruit for at least 12 months. The special colour, flavour and sweetness of the Double Bedded Palinkas are due to the ingredients extracted from the fruit, which are soft, creamy having a fruity flavour.

We make Árpád Silver Palinka using the classical technology according to the traditions. The main characteristics of these palinkas are that they have a deep and fruity scent, a jam-like taste, they are full-bodied and heavy.

Csabai series of Árpád Palinka is made by traditional double distillation called “kisüsti” (small pot) technology.

We recommend it to the consumers who like the traditional, high alcohol content. Resting the palinka for at least a year is a very important criterion. Despite the high alcohol content of the product, it is fruity and it has an intense floral fragrance.

It is a special Champion awarded cuvée from the favourite palinkas of our grandfather, our father and our master distiller, Árpád.

This product is available in plum and peach flavours, which are the two best-known Hungarian fruits, the unique package evokes the iconic symbols of Budapest on the bottle. We can find a short description about the sights on the bottle in English, while the labels of the palinka help the customer with different icons. It contains the most important information in English and in Hungarian.

Many years of work have brought this special palinka essence into existence, which incorporates uniquely the flavour and the scent of the fruit, in the form of the creamiest distillate. NOVUM is matured on a fruit-bed made of 100% dried fruit for at least three years in a barrel. It is a special drink, in a unique natural package, with a certification personal to the recipient.

This product line carries the acknowledgement of quality and excellence. Their name refers to the results achieved in palinka competitions, national palinkas of excellence and Hungary’s best palinkas.
