Successful Day of Service

On June 3, 2023, more than 100 volunteers spanned out across Alhambra for the first Alhambra Chamber Day of Service, spearheaded by its Nonprofit Council. Maria Gao (Evike.com), Keith Ko (Chinese Bible Missions Church), and Joanna Vargas (Downtown Alhambra Business Association) coordinated the day with key volunteers from local churches, nonprofits, and local businesses. The day was supported with donations from The Home Depot, Baja Cali, Raising Cane’s, Starbucks, Republic Services, and New Century BMW. The Alhambra Day of Service showcased the best of the Alhambra community coming together.
