My name is Kaylee Cooper, I am an eighth grader at Caldwell Junior High. I am in the Saddle & Sirlion 4-H Club and Brazos County Faith Riders where I get to ride which is what I love most. For my Colt fair project, I am training and showing my American Quarter Horse, Bugginwatchme, AKA ‘Mojo’. I also ride on the equestrian drill team which is super fun because we have to work together perfectly to make our patterns look amazing. When I'm not in the barn, I spend my time sewing and making arts and crafts projects to enter in the fair. I am really proud to be a 4-H member and my goal is to keep learning and to become a better rider and helpful leader.

Howdy! My name is Kes Canon. I am an 8th grade student at Brazos Christian School and have been showing at the Burleson County Fair since I was 8. I have lived in Caldwell my entire life, where my family and I raise Quarter Horses and Brangus cattle. My great, great grandfather began raising quarter horses in the 1920s before the Quarter Horse Association was formed and I have been blessed to follow in those footsteps. My dad made me a partner in our horse operation earlier this year and I am excited to become a 5th generation Quarter Horse breeder. This will be my first ever horse show and I have the privilege of showing one of our home raised, Canon Creek Ranch fillies this year.
Dashin To Blue 2025 AQHA Bay Roan Gelding
AQHA Dashin To Blue is a talented colt with an exceptional combination of race and ranch bloodlines. He is incredibly athletic, quick to learn, and has the potential to excel in just about anything he is asked to do. One of his favorite things is anything involving water, and his goofy, playful personality makes him a joy to work with. Dashin To Blue carries some impressive names in his pedigree. His sire line traces back to the legendary blue roan Blue Valentine an American Quarter Horse stallion foaled in 1956, bred by Kenneth Gunter of Cochise, Arizona. That legendary stallion was later inducted into the American Quarter Horse Association Hall of Fame in 2024. On his dam's side, Dashin To Blue also traces back to the legendary First Down Dash, one of the most influential race sires in American Quarter Horse history. Sired by Dash For Cash and out of First Prize Rose, First Down Dash won 13 of 15 career starts, earned $857,256, and was named the 1987 AQHA World Champion. As a sire, from 20 crops to race, he produced 1,163 winners, including 224 stakes winners. With his combination of legendary race bloodlines, strong ranch heritage, athletic ability, intelligence, and his fun-loving personality, Dashin To Blue has a bright future ahead of him. Emma is excited to continue learning, growing, and building a partnership with him through her 4-H journey. babes blue valenti 99 Bluvalentines Legacy 5382779

Macriffik Lightning 2025 AQHA Bay filly
Macriffik Lightning, AKA, Hershey is a filly that was born from a supreme bloodline of parents. Her sire is a working ranch horse and barrel horse; her dam is a working ranch horse. Howdy! My name is Mason Patch, a seventh grader at Caldwell Middle School. I am honored to showcase 'Lola' for my 4-H Colt project this year. This year has been an invaluable learning experience, teaching me what it truly takes to build a great horse from the ground up rather than just climbing on my parents' seasoned horses to go make a run. The proceeds from selling Lola will be directly reinvested into my future in the arena. They will fund another colt for next year's project and help me purchase my own step-up horse to further my roping career.

Howdy! My name is Gracie Patch, and I’m a fourth grader at Caldwell Intermediate School. This year, I am incredibly proud to be exhibiting 'Bugsy' as my 4-H Colt project. Working with Bugsy has shown me what it truly means to train and shape a young horse myself, instead of just stepping onto my parents' experienced horses to make a run. Selling him will allow me to fund my next 4-H colt project for next year. The rest of the money will go straight toward buying my own horse so I can chase my dreams in breakaway roping, playdays, and team roping.
THANK YOU!
To our buyers, bidders, sponsors, families, volunteers, and community, thank you for investing in our youth and supporting the future of agriculture. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you next year!
